Went for Halestorm living room acoustic show, which was exceptional, as the live music venue was also excellent, great acoustics. The Hard Rock property set up is convenient, as everything you could possibly need is easily accessible. My wife and I spent two nights, the room was very acceptable and comfortable. We did some gambling and lost some money.The only complaint I have, other than losing money, is the late 4:00pm check in time, should be at least an hour earlier.

It’s hard to review this stay because we were there during the snow, ice and freezing cold freak January weather. We got stuck there. We had to extend our stay for another day and then moved to another hotelbecause they brushed off our request to extend again.The HR tried to make everyone happy but frankly the staff were exhausted ( they we sleeping there and could not get home) the restaurants were closed except one and they were running out of food. We hoped we would get a break on our room price, but that didn’t happen. It was cold everywhere because the heating system is inadequate for that kind of weather. You needed to use your room key in the elevator and they hardly ever worked. So frustrating. Our extended room stay was a nightmare because no one communicated that we were given a different room and then later they denied that happened. We considered extending another day but the person at the desk wasn’t able to do it and said to come back later. But we had to be out by 11 and couldn’t wait around. I don’t understand why buying another day was such a hassle. The hotel wasn’t full - they were more concerned about the rate and not accommodating us under these strange conditions. They could have done better but the weather messed everything up.

There's no non-smokers area in the casino. During the night the loud sounds of drums didn't stop. wish it it would have been music..but that noise?? allll night!!?

Quality has definitely gone down

I have stayed here at least 3 times before but this was absolutely the worst experience out of all of my trips. The room was extremely unclean, carpet filthy and ripped. I have also stayed in smoking rooms in the past but the smell in this room was horrible... The chair had spots and was so filthy that we refused to allow any of our items to touch it. No working ice machines... I could go on... Horrible experience...

When I booked on Expedia it didn't say anything about an additional resort fee. I was charged an additional $20 for a resort fee when I checked in for use of the hot tub which I had no plans of using. Casino waitresses were very nice and the retail shops staff were also very helpful. Rooms were kind of outdated and carpet in the hallways were ripped. With all of that said, its a decent casino with a central bar for bands, which were good. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. Just hate getting hit with additional fees at check-in when the rooms are outdated and hallway carpets are worn.
