Above average casino and hotel for area. Room rates average on higher end but they insult you and charge an additional “resort fee” but no real amenities for this extra fee. Pool was closed. No special entry. Have a gym but outdated equipment and no water. Restaurants priced high and sports book not able to get a seat because they reserve them to many who do not show up. On a scale of 10 would give a 6-7

This property was poorly maintained, the room was semi clean and the staff were not trained for the holiday flow. To add insult to injury the casino was offline for the first 24 hours. No wallet and only two available luggage carts. The check in clerk questioned the amount of time it took for me to get on an elevator walk to my car and unload it. No concessions were offered for the inconvenience and the staff were unconcerned. I went to Biloxi for Nee Years and stayed somewhere else. I would not recommend that anyone stay there until they get the facility upgraded. Definitely not worth the money. I had stayed there In July and hoped for a better experience. When I asked the desk clerk why things were so different and why my suite didn’t have a sofa when all of the other rooms on the same side of my floor did she responded that all “junior suites” didn’t have sofas and that I stayed on an “upper floor “ during my previous stay. So my questions to Golden Nugget are twofold: 1) are not all guests entitled to clean rooms?; and, 2) why was my room the only one of same size, etc without a sofa and no real explanation given or the opportunity to change rooms. There was nothing “golden” about the Golden Nugget! Completely off my future lists and I would advise against others staying

The stay was really great. Comfortable beds and clean rooms in the hotel. The casino part was also clean and staff were friendly. There is a Starbucks in the casino and Bubba Gumps has great food. They are the annual host for the Casino Bridge Run and do an awesome job.

A stay with space, but little care. While the rooms are spacious, the experience quickly fell short. There was no housekeeping during our 3-night stay, and the room—including shelves—was unclean from the start. Despite being labeled non-smoking, the floor had a strong smoky smell, worsened by poor ventilation. Unfortunately, this wasn’t limited to the rooms—even the hotel’s restaurants had a heavy smoke-filled atmosphere. The rooms and bathrooms feel dated and worn, and although the pool was open, the H2O lounge was closed, which reduced the overall experience.

The staff was lovely and the location great but I can’t believe that they still allow smoking in the hotel. It’s only on the casino floors but it permeates everything and all those poor employees are being exposed to harmful secondhand smoke. It is unfortunate. We will not return to this hotel.

First off I called and asked if they had valet parking and was told they did. They do not. From the self parking it is a long walk and hard to find front desk. Very confusing layout.
