Harrah's Gulf Coast

Reserved through Orbits. Chose hotel as it was stated to be pet friendly. When we checked in were told we didnt reserve a "pet room", which was not indicated as an option on site, and I made sure to go to Harrah's site to see if prices were the same if reserved on either site. Arrived at hotel around 12:30 AM. Clerk stated I had to pay 100 dollars pet fee...50 per night, and the room was disgusting. It smelled of mildew and ammonia. The room was on the "Pet floor", but was not a pet room as it had carpet. If I hadn't driven 8 hours straight, and was not exhausted, I would have left as soon as I saw the room. The floor was not full and I feel that I was ripped off for being charged for a pet room but not actually in a room for visitors with pets. No microwave, no ice bucket, or amenities as rooms on other floors. I absolutely would not recommend the hotel. The Mix and Mingle bar and restaurant did have great food and reasonably priced. A motel 6 would have been nicer. Definitely not worth the price as there are very few channels on TV.and outdated.

Stopped in over night on our way from Maine back to Texas. Had a blast! The only complaints I could even think of would be the hot tub water was cold and the nachos had stadium nacho cheese and BBQ sauced meat. So not to shabby for a hotel. They welcomed our dog as well. Rose served us in the game room and she made our night! She was awesome. Very friendly and prompt with service. Room was clean, comfortable and modern.

the front desk was terrible they charge me a fee that was not part of the deal and then as I walked up to the person at the front desk the person left and didnt come back. .The place was nice one of the best you can ask for I will go back once they get new help.

Friendly and helpful staff. Extra fee required at check in as nightly charge which covered valet parking, pool access, etc, which I did not use. Room was nice, bed uncomfortable.

Everything is top notch. Could not ask for anything better. Maybe a free breakfast would be nice, but it would be too much people to feed with it being 12 stories.

Shower were ok water pressure was very low. Other than that nice room!

Stayed 1 night, spent day in New Orleans, and back to Harrahs to gamble

It was great everything went smoothly no wait valet parking won some money and lost it back ate some great food from hotel and had some great drinks from mingling bar overall great experience

We loved our room and the staff was so friendly!

nice place lots to do nice pool very nice room and very clean. staff was excellent!!!!

Right across the street from the beach with over the street walkway to beach. Hotel was exceptionally clean with multiple dining options.

Had a bad experiance with one of the slots. Casino supervisor, not in so many words, told me I was lying about this machine not working correctly.

The hotel is very nice and good staff. The only negative is the breakfast place has horrible wait times/service but the food is good and relatively cheap. TBT the connected restaurant is very good. It's very convenient they have everything you need. You don't need to really leave the hotel for anything. They keep the place spotless and the pool is heated. The casino wasn't why I went there but it seemed nice. Lots of smokers stay at this hotel but the rooms don't smell of it you'll catch it in the lobby area sometimes. Overall loved good price and good amenities.

My wife and I went for a short getaway to Biloxi as we do a few times a year from New Orleans. We arrived 3/14/17 and left 3/17/17. Reviews I read before booking were sketchy. Sometimes you have to look at those invisible lines too:). At arriving we found the parking garage on the side street to the left of the building (Oak St.) and turn right at the back of the building, it's the first public garage you'll see, with the sign 'Hotel and Casino' above. The Lobby is on the third level. We didn't have any problems parking. Checking in was very easy and unless you're traveling real light, get a bell hop who are more than happy to help make that part as easy as it gets in one swoop... (Thanks again Fred:). The whole staff there were very friendly and helpful. There is an amenity fee of about $16 per night but it's well worth it to fund the amities they have. I enjoyed the Wi-Fi which was fast at their standard speed. The rooms are really nice, clean, great beds, and had most everything that one would need. There's a fridge concealed into the cabinetry, but it does not automatically come with a microwave... that's $10 per night. The room windows are large with nice views. And if you miss out on a Gulf Coast view, there's a large window on every floor by the elevators... with a long seat. We did explore all the areas:). What we enjoyed most was the pool area, the breezeway, & The Blonde Tiger restaurant and bar. Great for sunsets. For my purposes, this place will be heard to beat

Hotel was a brief layover on a long road trip. Everything I need was there. Food shops and of course gambling. Only hiccup was connecting to Wi-Fi. The log in asks for last name which did not work but when I entered first name I connected.

we got in after dark, visited the casino and ate at the Steak N Shake in the casino and then back to our room. room was very clean and comfortable

The hotel is attached to the casino, which can't compete with the big ones, but it's nice to have a few amenities without leaving the property. It's convenient place to stay if you want to 'do the town'. Overall a refreshing change to scene from Las Vegas.

Casino with hotel on gulf coast with terrific view.

We had dog with us , so we were stay in the 2nd floors, from our window only can see the roof, no beach, no street, no swimming pool, not fun .

Had a great time but there was no reason to ask for a nonsmoking room because everything smelt of cigarettes due to the casino.
