Big rooms. A little smelly, not sure why. Fridge, MW.
Clean room
Liked nothing!Very old and very dirty! Needs updating!!
We booked this hotel online for our return trip home during spring break. A lot of hotels were booked so we picked one in the area we thought would work. When we saw our room, we decided we would rather drive all night than stay in this room. First, the decor was extremely dated (mustard colored walls, chocolate brown bedding with dated carpet (I can't remember the color)). When I pulled back the bedding on the beds, the covers below the comforter had holes in them. There were holes in the wall that had been patched, but not painted over. The security latch on the door had obviously been kicked in as it was busted off. We eyed the door to see if there was anyway we could barricade the door if anything happened, and we couldn't see a way that we could do so securely. Finally, we decided that we just couldn't sleep there and decided to leave.
Friendly Hotel right off interstate. Staff was kind. Hotel needs some remodeling. Our room had a big white spot where they fixed wall but didn't paint over and bathroom had water damage on the roof by shower where spots of black mold there. But the price was reasonable for what you got. Air worked fantasticly, and ice machine worked great too. Overall... 3/5 maybe.
Hotel staff was friendly and professional. Room comfort was acceptable. The bolt lock on the door was very loose and did not provide much security.
I had a great experience. I definitely recommend this hotel
We stayed one night. The carpet had strong odor of of fresher . The shower curtain was mildewed, dead bug. The bedspread and pillows need washer. The top lock was was broken. It was missing the part on the door. Didn't feel safe. The two thing I can say was the bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning was cold. I wouldn't stay here again. It's located next to truck stop so you could hear the trucks all night.
We stayed here on February 18, 2017. The location is an ideal location, right off of I-10. It is near a truck stop and convenient store. However, our check in was a night mare. We requested a non-smoking, pet free room (an extension of our the lifestyle we live at home, smoke free, pet free home). Upon our arrival, we were told they only had smoking rooms available. She told us that Orbitz, the agency we book through, had us for a smoking room. We requested a king bed, they didn't have any available. After 30 minutes, going back and forth with the front desk clerk and several phone calls. We were offered an upgrade suite. Yea, but no. After unpacking, we learned that the unit did work (hot or cold). The room was clean but strong mold and mildew smell. We reported the problem. They relocated us to another suite. Yes, the unit worked, the smell in this room was too strong, tile was broken, dead bolt to reinforce security was broken. After 6 hours trying to sleep, I was progressively getting worse. Today, $295 later from a doctor's visit; I am home with a bad upper respiratory infection. I have asked Orbitz to refund me my money. Dr. unhappy traveler and Orbitz customer.
