My room was much larger than expected and for a very reasonable rate. I stayed for two days and nights during Tropical Storm Cindy and still never lost wifi. Room had a couch, fridge, microwave, king bed, good AC, and flat screen TV. Coin laundry on premises. Very quiet.
I stayed in Room # 108 on Thursday night June 15 2017. I checked in just before 11:PM and went straight to bed. I awoke about 2:30 AM and my arms were both itching badly from bug bites. When I check out several hours later I was to angry to tell the lady in the office. I waited until today (Saturday) to call and report what happened. The lady whom I spoke with was adamant that they did not have any bugs. I did not call to complain but to report and they took this call like I had other motives which I did not.
People are nice but the hotel was dirty. I opened my door to room and a roach went running. Bed linen is very old. If emergency stay yes but not for visiting and staying. Overpriced for quality...and not great breakfast. Cereal, muffin, toast.....
One lamp didn't work No cover OVER plug in..plugged up charger and a spark came from it. Loud trucks all through the night Unlighted fridge No pool Worn bed Room 125 Shouldn't charge more than $50 OVER all it's a decent place to stay over night to get to next location...it's a luxury price without the luxuries. Biloxi was booked soooo
I have no idea why there are so many people complaining about this hotel. It is located by a truck stop, which was fine by us because if we needed anything, it's just a short walk. The WiFi is free and fast. The tv was nice with great channels. The air was good and cold and there's a safe in the room. The staff spoke to you in a professional and friendly manner. And the rate was very affordable. The room was very clean including the bathroom. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I needed more towels, the front desk got them for me, no problems. We needed sheets for the sofa bed, the front desk got them for us, no problems. She even made sure we did infact book the room that had the sofa bed. The beds are clean, nicely made, and sleep perfectly. We will be staying here again our next trip down. If you're too afraid to stay alone or think you're too good to be near a truck stop, this place is not for you. Our sleep wasn't disturbed by the big rigs - it's actually a quiet area. I hope business picks up because people are missing out on a decent priced, clean room with friendly owners and staff.
Conveniently located just off of interstate with a few restaurants located within walking distance. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a one night stay. The bed wasn't the best but probably would stay here again.
If you stay here you will need: a nice comfort set(our had pubic hair's and cigarette burns wholes), disinfect spray (for the mildew found, and I have no idea what that was on the refrigerator)! Brace yourself because you will see holes in the wall, and other things. Not to mention we need towels and housekeeping told us that we had to give them old ones(which is normal)so they could wash them because they was running low on them(smh). We also had to check out a iron. On the good side They was painting when we were there so maybe they are trying to do a much needed upgrade! And staff is really nice.
I gave it a 2 because the air was cold and they had wifi and a decent TV with stations. But it is not a place for family. It's for truckers passing by who just want to rest. And I know I witnessed prostitution. Can't prove it but see the same ladies and different guys going in an out the rooms. The room smelled old and there were 6 of us and we all had a smell of old wet rug. The rug was sticky and grimy feeling. The comforter had stains and looked like it was used over and over. We went to Kmart to buy sheets for the bed because we were scared to sleep on it. We rolled up their comforter and cover and threw in the corner. Not even a comfortable chair to sit on. And to top it off they clean your room and take the towels and don't return them until late. Shame. Guess they only have one set Never again.
My wife and I stayed here, after the first day we were pleased with the great room we stayed in. So much so we decided to stay a second night. The room was very clean and the beds were a joy to sleep on. I would strongly suggest this place
This hotel is located next to a truckstop, you will hear the truck traffic all night long. The rooms are a dump, the beds sag in the middle like hammocks, the toilets have rings of hard water around them, and all of their towels and rooms smell of acrid cigarrette smoke. The reason for that is because the maid that cleans the rooms and washes towels is a dubious looking man. (do not leave valuable in your room). I do not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting or passing through. Go three exits further east on IH10 to exit 34A to the Best Western, there you will spend a good night with good rest.
