Marriott Hartford Downtown

Close to the XL Center

Overall the Hotel itself is very nice and clean but we felt very underwhelmed about the service we received. We were under the impression that there was a complimentary shuttle to the XL center but apparently doesn't run on the weekends-we were able to find out from other guests that it was just a short walk-something the front desk should have mentioned when we were inquiring about the shuttle. Service was very slow in both the restaurant and lounge and we just felt like nobody went out of their way to make you feel welcome.

HYATT house Hartford North/Windsor

Very friendly staff

Wonderful staff, but the rooms were not up to par cleaniness-wise. Baseboards, corners, shelves extremely dusty. There were no blankets for the pull out couch and the flat, square pillows left with this bed were very stained and not cleaned. Have to say again, though, the staff at the front desk and elsewhere throughout the hotel were extremely helpful and very, very friendly.
