The front desk staff were pleasant and professional. hotel had free cookies and coffee/tea in lobby which was a nice addition. room was clean and comfortable. Area around hotel and outside the hotel building itself wasn’t very attractive. parking seems to be safe and plenty of room. Pool was supposed to be heated but was quite cool. we did ask for temp to be raised and the maintenance man was nice enough to do so but it took a long time for the water to feel even warm. Towels were ridiculously small at the pool. like hand towel size almost. breakfast was typical but was nicely presented and varied. would love for breakfast hours to be later esp over holidays. Positive experience overall

The hotel is a bit run down and needs upgrades across the board. Didn’t feel comparable to other Hampton Inns I’ve stayed at. Also the location is quite isolated and there’s nothing within walking distance (restaurants, bars, stores,…).

I had an overall wonderful experience! The cleaning staff did a very good job in cleaning the room which is always a plus. The staff at the front desk was accommodating and well mannered, but the staff in charge of breakfast was simply outstanding! They truly went above and beyond during breakfast! I will recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites Hartford/East Hartford to family and friends.

Nice clean rooms, bathroom had a lot of space as well. Breakfast was standard but good (and no line either morning for the waffles was a plus). The pool was in good, clean condition as well. If we're in the area again, we'd stay here again.

The room was nice and clean not updated recently but adequate. The main problem we had was noise. We could hear people coming in at 2 am with TV noises and showers. There was also a hammering noise that I think may have been pipes in the wall while the shower ran. Mostly a bummer at 3am when trying to sleep. Breakfast was ok, staff was friendly. Probably won’t return though because of noise issues.

Eggs were very runny and made us sick… 17Degrees out at 1 am fire alarm was pulled seemed like a regular occurrence. Pool was not heated at all it was freezing.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay for a friends wedding…The staff was amazing accommodating to anything we asked…wonderful 24hr fresh coffee and hot chocolate.Area was quiet buffet breakfast was sufficient for our needs…would definitely recommend and would stay again!!!

All good. There should have been a better selection of meats ie:bacon, sausage, smoked salmon. These added items would leave a great impression due to the total satisfaction of eating a meal in this establishment where you've slept in.
