Great Getaway

The pictures dont do the place justice, its even nicer in person. Very clean, hosts were awesome! Great location, tons of stuff to do. Very satisfied with our stay.

Fantastic stay and planning to return

Our group had a great time at the property. The house itself was beautiful and spacious. It comfortably slept 16 of us and 3 small children. The lake was amazing. We would love to return to this property for our next trip.

Perfect spot for a group trip!

My friends and I stayed together at this house while we all attended a nearby wedding. The house was the perfect home base for a large group of people with the high number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and places to gather. A nice surprise was how close it was to restaurants and grocery stores serving the Sister Lakes. No complaints, only positive things to say!

Everything was awesome!

The house was gorgeous and had everything we could need and then some. The owners were attentive and helpful getting us started for our weekend vacation.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! We had babies, toddlers, kids, teens, parents, and grandparent. Everyone was very happy and greatly entertained! The location was perfect on clear water lake, sandy beach area, sand bar near by, playground down the street, and multiple restaurants and an ice cream shop! The boat was very spacious and a great addition to the trip! The house was clean and well stocked with so many amenities. You can tell the owners really take pride in their home and making sure it has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Gerry and Liz were extremely accommodating and available for any questions we had. We left very happy and excited to return! Couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Girls Weekend

We are a group of 10 women that rented the house for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated home. The house met all our needs, including enough beds for all of us, plenty bathrooms, and many great spaces to hang out in. The kitchen is amazing and having three refrigerators is a real bonus. The fire table was a fun way to enjoy s’mores on a cool night. The hosts were responsive and very accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Labor day get together

The house had everything we could have wanted and everything was top notch. And the Gormans are wonderful hosts. Super friendly and they gave us all the info we needed about what there was to do in / around the lake. Second time staying here - and would definitely come back again!

Fantastic

Really awesome property right on Round Lake. The house is very comfortable and the 7 bedrooms make it perfect for large families like ours. The owners (Gerry and Liz) go the extra mile providing tons of extras - kayaks, paddle board, beach towels, corn hole boards, 3 hole putting green and many other fun things. I strongly suggest renting their 27 ft pontoon boat. Fantastic time cruising in the evening or skiing/tubing during the day. Gerry’s communication and actions solving issues is unmatched. You will be delighted if you choose to rent this property!

This was our second time staying at this wonderful summer home, and it was just as perfect as we remembered. The property is exceptionally clean and thoughtfully prepared, with multiple fridges that make cooking and entertaining effortless, a Weber Grill that was used often along with an ice maker and appliances for all our cooking endeavors. The Tritoon and lake toys were fantastic for kids and adults alike, keeping everyone entertained all week long. We also loved having the golf course so close by—it added an extra layer of fun to our stay. The sand bar on the weekend was lively and fun!The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their warm, accommodating approach made the experience stress-free from start to finish. It truly feels like a home away from home, and we’re already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a clean, well-equipped, and fun-filled getaway, this property is a gem.

Wonderful Getaway With Friends

We rented this home over Columbus Day weekend with a group of our friends that we try to do once a year. We could not have asked for a better weekend staying in this home. The check in was flawless and the hosts were readily available if we had any questions. The home comes stocked with anything you could possibly need. We had a fabulous time and cannot wait to come back! Thanks again!

Fantastic lake house

We had a group of 14 family members stay for a long weekend to attend my daughter's PhD graduation from MSU. It was the perfect house, described perfectly and in a beautiful location. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. The communication with the owners was fantastic. We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate this special occasion.

A fun vacation rental on Round Lake, Michigan

Terrific place. Lots of space. Beautiful decor. Right on Round Lake. Loads of things to do at the home and in the vacinity. Short drive to Lake Michigan. Owner communicated well. Kitchen was well appointed. Fun sandbar in lake just off of rental shore. Property manager was very approachable, too. Great place for a large family!

Great Family Vacation

We had an amazing family vacation. The beach and lake were great and the shallow water made it perfect for our granddaughter. She spent hours in the lake. The kayaks, paddle board and corn hole were huge hits. Our beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. All the neighbors are very friendly. Thank you Gerry and Liz for all your help and advice on places to go.

Fantastic Place For A Family Vacation

Amazing house, amazing location, and an amazing time. We recently spent a week at the house for a family vacation. The house was perfect and very roomy to accommodate a large family. The three tiered patio provided plenty of room and options for outdoor entertainment, and the beach and lake took care of the rest. The owners were very easy to communicate with, and were very accommodating in making sure we had an excellent time. We are looking forward to coming back in the future.

Idyllic Beach House! We had a great family reunion here. Can't wait to come again.

We were 5 families who gathered at this beautiful beach house for Spring Break. The owners are very responsive and go the extra mile to make sure that the guests have a comfortable stay. The house had a couple of kayaks for us to use, which was a lot of fun for the family. The house was clean and as per the description. We look forward to coming again sometime in the summer or fall, to make the most of the outdoor amenities that come with the house.

Anniversary celebration

Beautiful home and amenities- we enjoyed our visit there and with each other- and the grandkids loved playing in the sand and at the water’s edge. We spent one day in St Joe which was just beautiful! A few family members have allergies so some of the dog hair was a little bothersome for them, but other than that it was very nice! We spent each night around the fire table which was a great way to end each day!

Thanksgiving trip

We loved staying at the Gorman Lakehouse! My family of 20 (siblings, cousins, spouses, and children) all fit comfortably in this beautiful home for a Thanksgiving trip. The kitchen was well-equipped for our needs, and stores nearby provided everything else. Communication was very clear and thorough with the host, Jerry, throughout the entire process. We hope to visit again in the summer to partake in all the warm weather activities in the area!

Great house and Great Lake!

We stayed at the house in early August and had a great time! Everything was clean and in good condition. The kitchen island is a great shape for serving food and hanging out. Tons of fridge space and loved the ice maker and warming drawer! Lots of beach towels which was super convenient. Great location for walking to Sister Lakes Brewery, The Strand, Dockside Dan’s, etc. The owners were great to work with. We loved our vacation!

Family Birthday Celebration

We had a getaway weekend for one of my son's 40th birthday. Luckily my other son and his family was able to make it as well. I scheduled several activities to ensure all the grandchildren had a good time. As a result, everyone enjoyed just hanging out at the house and all it had to offer.

Mom’s 80th Birthday Celebration

This was such a great rental home! Would recommend to everyone. The lake house was in a beautiful location. We had 20 people celebrating my Mom’s 80th birthday. Can’t wait to visit again. We went to The Strand, Dockside Dan’s, BTs, casino, winery, golfing, trivia at Sister Lakes Brewing, and a boat day. Perfect place for viewing sunsets. Thank you for sharing your lake house.

Perfect

We had our siblings stay for a birthday get together and we could not imagine a better spot. The house was perfect in every fashion. It was clean, right on the water, had great amenities for a get together with lots of adults and kids. It was a perfect location where we could walk to the brewery, Strand, and grocery stores in less than 10 minutes. We would stay in this great house and the owners made us feel welcome and communicated fantastically during the entire rental period. Thanks for a great time!

Beautiful place, location, view and more

The owners of this property could not have been more accommodating. The house was beautiful with a perfect sunset view. Great beach with all the equipment available. Good fishing lake and clear water and sandbar fun. Fully equipped kitchen. The ice drawer was fantastic! Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The neighborhood was family friendly and walking to breweries and ice cream is always fun. Can't say enough good things. Looking forward to next year.
