Aemilia Hotel Bologna
Great place to stay !
We stayed at the Aemilia Hotel for 12 nights and enjoyed our stay very much . The room was spacious and spotlessly clean . The bed was huge and very comfortable. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly , and professional. The rooftop terrace was a favorite, with beautiful views across the city and beyond . We enjoyed a plentiful breakfast every morning , there was a lot of choice , from cooked bacon and eggs to cold meat and cheese , fresh fruit and pastries . If we ever go to Bologna again , I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel .

Great location, nice stay
Was a bit reluctant to stay here since based on what I could decipher, I assumed the hotel was dated and might not be very comfortable. However, found it to be an excellent choice. Check-in was simple, friendly and quick. Located near the airport and, conveniently, walking distance to a bus stop that runs directly into the historical district in the city center (front desk sells 3 euro tickets). My room was perfect (nothing fancy but also quite nice). Didn't do breakfast; unfortunately, dinner was overpriced and not very good (eat in the city!). Overall, planning to stay again in the fall when I return on business.

Walking distance to central city, University of Bologna and transportation. Very accommodating to early arrivals, excellent breakfast buffet, and spotlessly clean very comfortable rooms. Internet access is every room via Ethernet cable (provided).
I Portici Hotel
Very nice hotel near shopping and sights
High end hotel with great amenities. Room did not match up. Small bed, room, and shower. Poor WiFi and a/c. Free glass of wine was a nice touch.
