This Hotel is by far not a 4 stars category. Maybe in the early 70s, but today it reaches at maximum a 2 stars quality. Old toilets and carpets. At least it is clean and the personnel is friendly. For a work stay it's ok but not for holiday.
We stayed there for 2 nights. Has a parking area which was important for us. Wi-Fi was ok but at times weak.. Near the city (Bologna ). Receptionists are very friendly and helpful and took time with us in giving us infos. Good restaurant. .. food good. Coffee during buffet breakfast was not hot. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of our the room. It was not at all vacuumed clean since the bathroom was full of hair still and the stain on the floor was not removed. We have to remove the hair and stain ourselves with help of tissue. Bed was not also neatly made.Cleaning personnel should be more supervise. Would have love that each person has an additional pillow. Good swimming pool. Other than the cleanliness issue, we had good stay and sleep.
We only stayed for 1 night at this hotel, rooms was a bit outdated but clean. Staff was helpful except during breakfast it was a disaster. Barely any table was cleaned after people left. The buffet was allmost empty and I never saw something beeing replaced. There is a very nice olympic pool and the lunch we had in the hotel was quite fine. You can tell this is a businesshotel pur sang and not really ment for touristic purposes. The hotel is +/- 13km from bologna center and a car is handy. Enough parking space is found in the near area. Conclusion: the hotel was sufficient for the one night we stayed on our italy trip. Don't visit if you want a "holiday" feeling
As I was travelling from Switzerland to Greece, I stopped there fot hte night. It was ok. , the staff very helpfull and the speak english. It is far from the city center. It has a quite big swimming pool. You can relax around with a glass of italian wine. Breakfast was good.
Very nice place, good services. Staff is also ok and speaks english. Breakfast is the same every day, but pretty diversified. Not close to bus stations and far from Bologna Center & Airport, but close to a comercial center.
Stayed for a week in the hotel and then returned for one night before back to UK. On arrival for the week stay discovered that the hotel had wrong date for our one night stay prior to flying back. I left several notes with Reception to speak to a Mgr to resolve the mistake as the night they had written down was for the day we were flying out. Over 7 days all I got from Reception was I need to ask my Mgr. This was frustrating as I needed to know what can be done as I had paid for the one night stay in advance. So I was worried about loosing money with a tight holiday budget. Travelling with my children I wanted to make sure that we had a booking for a one night stay before flying back. More importantly to manage our monies to meet potential extra cost of the room. No response from Mgr at all from 8th July to 15th July. I do not understand why as I was there in the Hotel for 7 days asking everyday for a response, update chat with the Mgr. Only an email from Reception on the day after we left fo 6 days on the beach. This was very upsetting as I was in the hotel for 7 days when the Mgr could have spoken to me directly to discuss the mistake and resolve. The email did not confirm a room would be held as I had asked for. Only that I needed to make another booking with the hotel directly. This left me feeling very sad and confused as for 7 days I was asking if the Reservation had been made and what the cost would be. In Rimini I had unreliable Wi-Fi so could not pick up the email until the Reception staff at the hotel there let me use their computer. Living Place caused me so much hassle and stress over a simple mistake which I tried to resolve in person. I was left exhausted and frustrated causing panic attacks to which the Sara, the Front Office Manager today was very rude about. Telling me "I do not care!!" This was an hour after I waited 30 mins in Reception to speak to a Manager only to be told there was not a Manager on the Hotel!!! After a panic attak I needed a tea to calm dowm and Sara told the Waitress not to serve me. I went to the adjoined Pool Bar where I was helped to calm down with a cup of hot tea brought from the Hotel!!! The irony does not escape me!! Why so much stress??? Why so much intimidation!! During our week stay Sara previously asked me who made a mistake from her staff regarding pool towels. She asked me for a name. I felt intimidated and did not offer a name as the Reception and other Restaurant Staff are very lovely. But seem to be running scared from the Managers. During breakfast if an item runs out then replacements are not made. Even when requested. The service is slooooowww. Even dishes run out with no replacements made. We were 3 in a room only towels for 2 were given. Requests for more towels were met with a cold, intimidatory response. Every time a question is asked or request made I was told wait a minute or I need to ask the Manager. On the last day I was told that I had to pay the Checkout Bill just so my kids could have a towel for their after swimming showers. This was after being their guest for 8 days and they still have our items in storage not handed over. I do not like hassle. I do not like no response to a mistake from Mgt. I regret booking Living Place Hotel for their heavy-handed and intimidating approach. Especially by Sara. The last 24 hours of my 2 week Italia trip have been a nighmare at LPH. I was shaky on the flight and could not wait to get back home sweet home!!
Poor breakfast, room quite dirty... ..Especially carpets. Electric socket,-by the bed-, broken, kettle for boiling water, missing (but the base was there!). Staff in general not very visible, polite but nothing more.
I booked this hotel as it was close to Ducati Museum. We were greeted warmly by the very nice lady on reception in perfect English and she upgraded our room also. Not sure what too but it was very nice. Modern, clean and well kept. We went to the bar and once again the staff were great, it was only spoilt by half a dozen business people being very loud and shouting and laughing like no one else existed. I was held back by my wife but would have gladly shut them up. The breakfast was very nice with very good selection and the chance to sit out by the pool if required. Overall not much to do my secure parking, great staff and good Wi-Fi
Very good hotel, clean, great breakfast, nice and helpful staff, a bit far from the city center but the hotel staff can call for a taxi.Worth staying at this hotel, free wifi, lobby computer available that you can use
