Overall the hotel is okay, it's a good price, is clean, and is relatively close to the airport. However; it looks closer on the map than it really is, requires a long loop around, not a direct path. Building is outdated, but the room appears to have been maintained well. Overall it's good value considering the prices of other hotels in the Bologna area.
2 main issues I had:
I had room 127, which is the furthest room away. the lobby is on floor 4, it's on a hill, and the rooms are on 1 - 5. 127 is the bottom floor and the room at the very end of the wing, and apparently means you do not get the WiFi signal. And it didn't work on 3 different devices, so it's the way it's implemented. Front desk - manager - answer: Too bad, sorry, we can't do anything. No compensation whatsoever.
Second, and this maybe a local preference, but the bathroom is a wet bath, the shower is in a corner with no walls or curtain. The bathroom is a generous size, but taking a shower means the whole floor is wet, and just using the sink or anything afterwards involves stepping on water. The bathroom is clean, just a bit strange.
A bit quirky but good value for the area - just avoid any rooms on the extreme end if you want to use WiFi.
