when i made the booking i made it very clear that i was disabled and would be using a wheelchair however this was ignored, we were placed on the 7th floor with a tight L shaped entry to the the room. which made entry to the room very difficult. on entry to the room which was supposed to cater for 4, fortunately there was only 2 of us , there was one very unstable chair which tipped you out, the beds was on wheels which were not locked and moved when you sat on the bed there was no expel air of fan in bath room the tiles when wet were slippery and i managed to slip the room was certainly not made for a wheelchair. there was no information folder or emergency information about what to do in an emergency. We rang for a room service menu which we never got. the front of house staff were very unhelpful no smile and really couldn't be bothered when we finally got to order room service meal for 2 we got beautiful meals but only one set of cutlery . On the upside the restaurant was excellent great food, both dinner and breakfast the staff were brilliant as well .

Clean quiet and comfortable king bed in our room. We would recommend the Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Staff helpful. One big negative was the Wifi. Be aware that you are connected. We were constantly getting dropped (every 15 minutes) and we would be using our data. We would have to sign in again and again…

Over all was good experience, but had to move rooms three times as first time we asked for rooms next to one another as we had children, and they weren’t beside each other, then the tv didn’t work so we moved again and the tv didn’t work in one of the rooms there either, we had the option to move but didn’t want to move again. Overall, the room itself was very basic, and for the price paid over the New Year period, I expected a noticeably higher standard. Unfortunately, it felt comparable to a Travelodge in the UK or Europe, rather than a premium hotel experience. A key disappointment was the handling of the New Year’s Eve rooftop party. I emailed approximately six months in advance requesting to be added, and received a prompt reply saying it was not guaranteed but that you would do their best. I followed this up again a few weeks before arriving, but received no response. When I arrived at the hotel on New Year’s Eve, I was told the party had sold out earlier that week and no tickets were available. While I understand availability can be limited, the lack of communication and follow-up was frustrating and reflected poorly on the overall customer service. The service experience in general felt underwhelming. The bar staff were quite basic and not particularly friendly, and the hotel lacked the world class service I’ve experienced at quality hotels in other major international cities. Iwas also surprised that a 15% surcharge was added on New Year’s Day and the following day. While I understand this is permitted, it is not mandatory, and choosing to apply it especially to hotel guests felt disappointing. For tourists visiting the city, these additional voluntary charges can leave a poor impression. I would not book here. Other hotels in the area are close and would explore these next times
