do not book with food and beverage credit as the hotel does not honor this. we found this out a month ago and theyre still selling the upgraded room rates. also, the room service comes to you in a bag. horrible image.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very clean. The bed was very comfortable.it was really convenient having a Starbucks on site for breakfast. The building itself is also well kept. The elevator, lobby and corridors are well maintained. The only issue is that parking is a bit difficult to find and hotel parking is way too expensive

The Marriott here is in a nice location convenient for visiting the sites in Cambridge or Boston. The rooms are renovated, modern, clean and sleek. Many have nice views of the river. The area around Kendal square has nice restaurants with outdoor seating. The price is less and value is more compared with many of the other hotels in this area.

Check in went smooth. I was there for just one night. Went to a show. Not many places open late to eat afterwards.

I picked this hotel bec. I got an excellent deal from Orbitz flight and hotel combined. We arrived and got a warm reception during check in. Our hotel room was in the 8th floor and had a nice view of Cambridge, Boston. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. There was no refrigerator in the room as advertised. The sink did not have cold water but the hotel staff adjusted it when we complained. The next day they same problem happened but we let it go since it was only a 2 night stay for my kids swimming competition in MIT. We requested a late check out and they gave me a 1pm time. Upon knowing that some of my friends were given a 2pm late check out, me and another friend went to the desk to request a 2pm check out. Cameron gave my friend a 2pm but rejected my request. He told me that he was a Marriot gold member, however my other friends who were not members had a 2pm late check out. My son was not feeling well after the swim meet and needed to take a nap for the 4pm finals, but Cameron told me I can pay a half day rate and when asked who his supervisor was, he told me that he was the manager. They were not consistent, when in fact after I checked out at 1pm, I saw several of my companion checking out later than us even if they did not ask a late check out. I did not find the manager nice and kind. I told him that I will never ever stay in that hotel bec. the manager was heartless and was not considerate. My experience was not pleasant at all.

Great place to stay - we visited many of Boston's great spots with a little help from the subway system and a lot of walking. Beautiful hotel with many nice amenities.

I travel extensively. I never take time to do this. Will for this one. Mike is a concierge, desk clerk and travel guide rolled into one - like having a personal assistant on site. Terrific.

Exhorbitant rate charged for tiny, cramped room with no room safe, no working clock, no refrigerator. Very small bathroom and sink area. Location next door to Kendall Station is good.

Just next to MIT and red line. Perfect location. Clean and quiet

Good central location with access to the subway right out the back entrance. Was offered the use of their towncar service when no taxis were available. Valet service was lightning fast. Housekeeping found an item of ours after checkout and shipped it to us. Very impressed with the facility and even more impressed with the staff. Thank you!

Room is clean and tidy. Amenities are new and good. Staff is nice. Very good location also, 5 mins walk to MIT's main campus. Also about 15 mins drive to airport, very convenient. If living in a high floor and facing south, will get a good view of Boston downtown. Overall, recommended.

It was a fairly basic hotel room without many nice things but with a hefty price. Centrally located to the Red Line, Hubway bike rentals, MIT, and a good place to stay for trips into Boston. But really wasn't that nice of a hotel, especially for the price.

Liked the hotel location but when I booked this room I was told we would have two double beds. Not so, only a queen with pull out couch. Paid extra for my daughter and husband to be with us, very cramped sito and I did not like the sleep arrangements.If I had known this ahead, we would of booked 2 rooms.

Great location next to MIT and 3min to Charles River. Friendly and effective staff. Pool area could be nicer

The train was right at the doorstep. This was great for weary travelers.

Very enjoyable stay. Close to "T". Try the Blue Room restaurant in the area

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very clean. The bed was very comfortable.it was really convenient having a Starbucks on site for breakfast.
