Staff was friendly and helpful. Took the time to acquaint us with nearby attractions and how to navigate the public transportation. Complementary breakfast was delicious.

Staff was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Facility was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again next time I'm in the Boston/Cambridge area!

Clean, comfortable, great value for price. We stayed here and took the T to Fenway park. Front desk staff extremely helpful.

Stayed in a room with two queen beds with a family of four for a week during a college visit tour. Nothing to complain about even though space is tight with four persons in a room. The only critique is that there is not enough storage room for clothes for so many people. Breakfast is free and good, Wifi works well and you are next door to the T, so getting anywhere is not a problem at all. Shopping Mall is in walking distance. Staff is friendly and evrything is clean and well maintained! Great value for price! We would come back if needed.

I was there for business and did not spend much time at the hotel but it was clean comfortable, and the breakfast was good.

I really enjoyed the location of this and access to the T. It was nice to be so close to it bc I didn't have a car. Breakfast was good but a lot of the staff throughout were not very friendly and helpful. Room was always clean.

Parking and check-in were easy. The complimentary breakfast was just OK, although the eggs tasted a little funny. The room itself was nice. I like Hampton Inns for the relatively soft bed (although as usual I couldn't sleep the first night - I never do unfortunately).

The hotel was less expense than some of the other hotels in the area. However, the amenities were more than adequate (free breakfast included) and it is very conveniently located across the street from the green line of the Boston T. I would recommend it.

For driver guest to Cambridge ,it is good location. From here to Harvard University only 10minutes driving and parking is free.Room is comfortable,if the air conditioner could be less noisy,it'll be great. That's why I only give rate 3 at some items.

Four of us stayed here for a couple days to catch our team play the Bruins and to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. It was a consistent $9.80 cab fare to Quincy Market. (The train was $2.50/person one-way). If it was nicer, we could have easily walked. The Staff was very kind to us and eager to help with any questions we had about food, directions, attractions, you name it. Simple "Good Morning's" & "How are you's" go a long way. It seemed as if we were staying in Boston without paying the higher price. We know where we'll be staying on our next trip to Boston.

Everything was sold out in Boston and we lucked out getting our room at the Hampton. It turned out to be perfect. Parking was included, breakfast and wifi included. Those things make a difference. and the location was perfect. Access to the T across the street meant not needing the car. And a great in town Mall a 5 minute walk away plus a boat tour of the Charles. Wish we had more time to have stayed longer.

Liked it the first time. Went back. Liked it again. Parking available making the location very convenient if you have a car. Otherwise, they will call for a cab that comes pretty quickly to get you where you need to go.

With the up-scaling of 3rd Ave corridor, the Hampton Inn is now only about a 10 minute walk from very nice restaurants (Fuji, Evoo, etc), but about half the price of Kendall to Harvard Square hotels.

Staff was excellent and extremely helpful. Great location to shopping and the T. Can get anywhere from here

Nice rooms. Attentive staff but no wireless in room. Fine if you have a laptop but not if using iPad or other tablet. wireless in lobby though. Nice continental breakfast.

Extremely friendly staff at check in, room was a little small, but beds were great, very comfortable. Location is only two blocks from Science Museum and T.

Shame on me for waiting until the last minute during conference season. This was literally the last room in all of Cambridge; my expectations were set as such and I wasn't surprised. There's not a restaurant on property and nothing is within eyesight. You need to walk to get a feed, which may not be the best idea at 9PM at night. The air conditioning unit has not been serviced in a while and so wafts that special smell of mildew and old air that some hotels have. I was one of the lucky three rooms on the floor nestled next to the ice machine and the elevator; interestingly, it was loud, but it could have been worse (but for $350, this seemed to be a bit ridiculous). I should say though that the people at the front desk were friendly and the free breakfast in the morning seemed to be a big hit.

Beautiful hotel. V clean in room & in communal areas. Looks like brand new hotel. Super nice staff. About a block away from t station

We have stayed there a number of times before because our son and his wife live nearby in Somerville. This is a very comfortable hotel with an excellent breakfast selection and very helpful courteous staff members at the front desk. The only comment I have about the hotel is that it would be very nice to have a dining room. Food options within walking distance consist of the food court in the shopping center.

I needed a hotel with good public transit links to downtown, and the hotels I usually stay in were either booked or prohibitevly expensive the week I needed to stay. This hotel is clean, new, and very convenient to downtown. Staff is friendly. The only downside - there are not many places to eat near the hotel.
