The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and well maintained.

Kimpton never disappoints and such is true with our brief stay in Boston this past week. The Kimpton was an oasis of pleasure in a very cute and walk-able neighborhood near the colleges. There are plenty of restaurants and a T station close by. The view was wonderful. And the room was exquisite with everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again when in the Boston area.

They really make you feel at home with all the amenities. I especially appreciated the dog bowl and pad for Mr. Luke.

We've stayed here many times and it is our preferred hotel in th Boston area. It is beautifully furnished, has a great staff, very good restaurant and the location is great: interior access to th Galeria Mall, walking distance to Kendal Sq., 2 blocks to the T metro, and just across the river from an especially nice part of Boston.

My husband, 3 children and I traveled to Boston for a family reunion. We booked the hotel based on customer service reviews and location and in both cases, the hotel exceeded our expectations. We arrived hot and tired after an early and long travel day, hoping for an early check in, and Ali at the front desk made it happen. When we found the telescope in our room was decorative, the porter offered to bring a pair of binoculars from home! When we got back from a run, the doorman handed us a towel and bottle of water. When we went down and found that the lobby's coffee setup had been taken down, the front desk agent ran and got a couple cups from the restaurant. So we were so disappointed when we had a terrible brunch on Sunday morning. They were clearly understaffed but the service and food were both super disappointing, and it was expensive. When we got back to the room I gave this feedback to the hotel's comment line. Within two minutes, Ali called the room, apologized profusely for the experience, and took the meal off our bill. I was so grateful but also explained that I thought they'd want the feedback, because it was such a contrast to the rest of our time in the hotel. A couple hours later, I got a call from the restaurant's manager, who thanked me for the feedback, apologized again and offered to buy us dinner. And when we got back late that night from a day in boston with family, in our room was a hand written note from Ali with a variety of snacks. ABOVE & BEYOND!

No extras like s blow drier or hair conditioner. Staff was very nice though. Clean but beds could be more comfortable.

I spent the weekend up with the kids in Boston since my son had a weekend event at MIT. It was a quick 10 min drive to MIT which was perfect. We were 1-2 blocks from the Museum of Science, which is where we spent most of our time. Breakfast was delicious, not included in price. Valet parking was prompt and efficient. Check in and out efficient, staff very friendly and helpful. Beds very comfortable, bathroom was spacious with all the amenities. Room very clean. Kids and I loved the ambience of the hotel, and we all loved the room. They kept saying how this is the best place we have ever stayed! One funny story--my son went up in the elevator by himself to grab something from the room. He took too long to press the button, so the elevator shut down to conserve energy--environmentally friendly. Soon, he got stuck in the elevator until another couple got on.

Luxury hotel in a great location. Attached to a mall which did not impede on the quality of the stay and added some convenience. Lovely, affordable boat tour leaves from cambridgeside exit of mall.

It's a large hotel but doesn't feel so. Beautiful public spaces and quite, comfortable, spacious rooms. The staff is terrific - doorman, reception, restaurant, cleaning - all are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We love Kimpton hotels - we've stayed in three of them and every one has been a great experience.

This is a fantastic hotel! We arrived in from a red-eye flight for a four night stay. Upon arriving, we asked if we could leave our bags. The friendly front desk staff allowed us to check in early and helped us with our luggage so we could get some sleep. The bed and room are very comfortable, and the air within the hotel is fresh and clean. The hotel is within a block from Penn Station and a short walk to the Empire State building, the theatre district, Grand Central Station, and more.

Very helpful and courteous staff nice size room and excellent bed. Location was very good for us, easy auto access and nice access to path along the Charles We walked across the bridges to North end, the Common, Beacon hill and up to Kendell Square. Only downside was there is no business center to use but the staff was happy to accommodate.

Offered glass of complimentary wine on arrival. Great service

My flight was delayed and I didn't arrive in Boston until 2am. I had only a brief time at the hotel before an early morning meeting. The staff and amenities at the Marlowe made my brief stay comfortable and easy. Nice breakfast at the attached restaurant as well.

Beautiful hotel with excellent amneties. Nice safe location and convenient to the subway.

This hotel is located near to everything, especially Macy's which has everything we wanted for the trip. The hotel is beautiful. My friends came and waited for me at the hotel lobby and they impressed with the decoration. However, my boyfriend prefers sleeping with the thin pillows and this hotel has only think ones that my boyfriend ended up sleeping on the bed itself without using any pillows.

The hotel was great . We loved the location and the vibe .. Great for any occasion !

The hotel was very nice and perfect location. Walking distance to many attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We will be returning.

Great hotel. Location is good for Science Museum but a little walk to Government Center area. Stayed here before and would again! Staff exceptional! Restaurant was closed under construction. Hotel made every attempt to make up for that! Pet friendly BUT is you are not you really don't know they are there! (we don't have any pets!just kids!)

Thanks for the feedback. Although our location is not right downtown, it's in a cool part of Cambridge and a mile or 2 from most of the historical spots. Duly noted on the coffee maker preference. Joe Capalbo General Manager
