This was a great place. Starbucks just off the lobby. A few blocks from MIT and a couple of college bars. Plenty of cabs. A couple of different bike share stations were nearby. It was easy to get to the Garden and Fenway from this location. Best thing about it... when we went back to our room at night after the games, the Cambridge location was quiet... slept like a baby 'til noon everyday.

very convenient to the airport and for visiting our son on his 30th birthday. worked out great

Unfortunately the pool was a mess and we had to wait over 24 hours to use it. Breakfast was ok but not as good as it use to be

The Matriot Residenxe is a homelike place. Our room was a studio with nice kitchen and dining area. The sofa bed was comfortable. Really nice place to stay and would always go back. Their free breakfast had a lot of selections. Usually Breakfast starts at 7am but they opened at 6am since the swim team had to leave early. Very nice staff! Great place to stay and I highly recommend!

The place was spacious, living room and kitchen was big and accommodated my whole family. A really comfortable place to stay. Will come back definitely!

Rooms were clean and fresh. Breakfast was good. Family friendly place with helpful staff. Location is great with walking distance to restaurants and MIT. Will be looking to comeback again soon.

This hotel was very pleasing. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. No complaints for me and my husband and two teenagers! It was in a perfect location as well - walking distance to restaurants and stores. I would come back again and refer to my family and friends when visiting Boston. Thanks for a great stay!!

Really friendly check-in, quiet and friendly neighborhood provide easy access by car, Uber/Taxi or one block from the Red-Line. (if you come via Amtrak South Station) Very impressed with Cambridge. I lived in Boston for seven years and this location has great access to the Boston neighborhoods.

We paid via an online booking site but the hotel double charged the card and couldn't get it reversed until next week

We have stayed here several times and find it an excellent value because of the large free breakfast buffet and in-room full refrigerator-freezer and microwave oven. Excellent Cambridge location near MIT and Kendall MBTA station. It can be a bit crowded. Downside is minimal lobby and no in-hotel bar or restaurant, but those are nearby. Rooms are modern and clean.

I stayed here after having shoulder surgery. I wanted to stay near Boston in a room that had a kitchen, living room and seperate sleeping area. It was great. There were coutyards to sit in on a nice day just to be outside. Restaurants and public transportation are within blocks. Anyone who wants to have easy access to Boston with as much comfort as home should consider staying here. I made myself comfortable on the couch. I also moved from the couch to the high back computer chair. I also brought alot of food from home because I didn't want to eat all take out. The kitchen had pots, pans, dishes, bowls, etc. The staff was helpful and courteous. Anything I needed was immediately delivered.i would definitel stay herw again. The complimentary breafast is GREAT. Way more than a bagel and coffee. Scrambled eggs, home fries, waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, etc. A pleasant surprise.

We spent a long weekend here visiting our daughter; not our first visit. The hotel is doing renovation of some of the rooms but we've never had a problem with the rooms here. At first, we had difficulty in getting hot water, but the hotel quickly took care of the problem. The big plus here is an excellent free breakfast, daily newspaper (even Sunday) and free wifi, so overall, it's usually a very good value. There's no bar or restaurant in the hotel but plenty of both nearby, and the proximity to MIT and Kendall Sq. metro is excellent.

Spacious room with fridge, dishwasher etc. but the AC rattled constantly and most of the water from the 'shower' actually came out of the bath tap. Staff were friendly.

This hotel is comparatively reasonably priced for its proximity to the MIT and Harvard Business School campuses. The lobby was undergoing renovation, but staff went out of their way to meet customer needs. The room furnishings needed updating but were satisfactory. We were here during the Boston bomb attacks, making it an atypical time to evaluate a hotel. Overall, we were pleased with our choice.

Perfect place to stay in Cambridge. Easy access to the T and to downtown Boston. Staff was friendly and they do have laundry facilities. The only drawback was the lack of restaurants that were in walking distance, but it is on the MIT campus. Looking past that, I would stay here again as it was a nice hotel.

Hotel is very nice and clean, is in a safe area and close to the T-line. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Only complaint is that the breakfast buffett got to be a little bland after a weeks stay. The restraunt staff is very nice and helpfull.

Very homey in the hotel. Easy access to the restaurants and MIT campus.

The hotel stay was good. The breakfast buffet was kept well stocked. I would have preferred some healthy cold cereal options besides Raisin Bran, but still a good deal for the money. When we requested service on the room, the maid provided good service as well.

The room comfort was the primary negative of our stay at the Residence Inn. The air conditioning was under maintenance while we were there and Boston had record high temperatures. The room was unbearably hot. We had to leave the window open and unfortunately there was construction right outside that began at 6 AM every morning. Aside from this, the breakfast was fantastic and free, the housekeeper was friendly and very thorough, and it was nice to have a full kitchen to use.

I booked this hotel fairly early on, so I got a really good rate. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were very welcoming. The location of the hotel was key, considering I was attending an event close by.
