We have enjoyed some parts of our stay. The pricing was fair, and we were able to extend our stay with no issue. The property is decent for a short stay but the advertisement should make it clear that this unit is surrounded by other houses. For us it's just a temporary spot and had looked forward to blasting some music. The walls are quite thin, so that's not been possible. The kitchen is more a kitchenette, just had 2 towels for an 11 day stay. Matey wanted to call the review 'A Bugs Life' but I've not noticed it to be too bad. The surrounding areas are beautiful, if a little lacking in amenities (10 mins drive to Glen Eden or 5 mins drive to Titirangi). Comfortable bed, not so comfortable sofa bed.
It should be made clear that there are other units on the property and it's not suitable for anyone like me or my mate who are night owls who enjoy listening to music.

Unfortunately the photos misled you to believe in a slice of paradise. It's not it's cold damp and unwelcoming with the fear of spiders to give you nightmares. If you can't drive don't go here as you need experience to park perfectly. I still can't get the damp rubbish smell out of my car! Book-a-bach is a rip off!

9 Day Titirangi Experience
A lovely little place in the thick of bird heaven. Located in the middle of lush native bush with a quiet stream meandering past the property. Perfect for a weekend hide away of peace and tranquility. With just a few minor additions, (a little guide on how the property worked, where to locate the rubbish bins and what coloured lid bin associated to the type of waste. A towel rail or a few towel or clothe hooks in the bathroom would also be extremely helpful. During our stay the weather was extremely wet and not having anywhere to hang jackets and clothing was a little disappointing. A few large hooks at the entrance door and/or a clothes rail in the lounge cupboard would have been helpful. We had a few issues with signing into Netflix and broken cupboard doors but these were seen to by an extremely helpful maintainence man. He was even able to help out with all the other questions we had. All in all this is a lovely little property. But for the few minor issues the property is more than adequate.
