I arrived at hotel and checked in. Received room key and went to assigned room 3312. Once I was in room, I went to restroom to discover toilet overflowed. Contact front desk and was told there was no maintenance staff present and no plunger on premises. I was told to I would need to change rooms. I took belongs to front desk to get new keys for room 1121. It was past 1:00 a.m. Went to room unpacked and laid down. Turn lights off with light from bathroom lighting room. I felt something crawling on me, I rubbed my head and felt a bug. I looked at white pillows case and saw bugs, I jumped up and turned on lights to discover bedbugs on bed. I moved to other bed and same thing happened. I grabbed belongings and contacted front desk. I was moved to third room, which it’s passed 2:30 a.m. I had driven over 1800 miles, from Arlington Tx to ATL. I did not get any sleep, which deprived me of rest and placed me in grave danger, because I still had to drive another 8 hours. Then, drive another 19 hours back to Tx with family with minimum sleep. Totaling over 40 hours of driving. I’m requesting a full refund for the inconvenience. I spoke with hotel management and was told I should have left the premises despite not having slept since 2:00 am Wednesday morning.
