Horrible... the room was disgusting, filthy. Would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone

Clean, comfortable. Simple price, simple place. No complaints!

First - if you stay here, it's a little hard to find. Turn at the Honda dealer, the Days Inn sign is about 6 x 12 and only about 6 ft off the ground - very hard to notice. The room was clean and nice, flat screen TV on the wall. It was completely quiet despite being near the highway. The man at the front desk was so friendly! I wish I caught his name, but he was so helpful and just seemed happy to help. A lot of smaller hotels have staff that seem like you're bothering them & they just want you to go away. We will definitely stay here again when we're back this way.

The Days Inn Athens was fine for what we needed it for. The room was pretty clean except for some mold above the shower. The cost was what I needed it to be and is the reason I chose this Days Inn in the first place. It was convenient to Ohio University which is where we were going.

A bit disappointing that Days Inn would have their name on this hotel. Always love Days Inn but this one needs some serious updating to the beds. Box springs were disgusting. Very stained & even huge holes in sides. Mattresses & towels were from the 80's I think. Bad for Ohio University area!!

Could of been cleaner and needs some updating. Not sure if the bathroom was cleaned, if it was, the cleaning rag wasn't clean. Been in better and been in worse, The staff was great. Overall not bad for the money, it served its purpose without issue.

this hotel is fine. It is half the price of the larger hotels and almost as close to the University. Rooms are average but clean. Breakfast is basic but good.

I am disappointed that Days Inn had their name on this hotel. I have never stayed at a bad one but this one was horrible!! Whole in side of box spring, wholes in sheets, only one bar of soap for sink & shower, horrible buzzing noise from lights outside room & musky odor.

I stayed there in June of 2014 and when I checked in, my room was not clean. It looked like the maid came through and made the bed, but didn't clean anything. Floor was dirty, sheets were dirty, tub was dirty, previous guests trash left in room. I went to the front desk and they immediately moved to a new room which was clean and the rest of my stay was fine. In August 2014 I booked with them again. After checking in my room was not clean. Sheets dirty, floor dirty. I complained, they apologized and moved me to a new room. They new room was even dirtier. Floor filthy, bathroom dirty, room smelled. I went back to the front desk and told them we can't stay here. She was nice and apologetic but I will never stay there again.

When I got to the hotel for a 2 night stay I was put on the second floor all the way at the end. None of the rooms around me were occupied so I wasn't sure why I had to lug my stuff up the stairs and all the way to the end. When I got in the room it had not been cleaned for a new person but only "spruced-up" as if a guest was returning to the room. The floor was dirty, used soap and shampoo in the shower, previous guest's trash left in the room, and the bed sheets were really dirty. I called the front desk and she seemed irritated that I was complaining but then gave me a new room on the first floor right by the office. So I had to lug my stuff all the way back down and across the building. The new room was clean and the rest of my trip was fine. Other complaints were that almost all the tv stations came in fuzzy and the breakfast did not have much to choose from.

Very Simple, Very Basic, close to Campus and very affordable. Perfect clean, safe place to crash and visit the campus. No frills but no spills either.

On arrival, heater was turned off- not left on low heat. The room was freezing - same as outdoor temp, felt like 35-40 F. Room was not noticeably warmer after several hours. I tried going to bed but sheets, pillows and blankets were very cold. For the money, it was no bargain! It was also very difficult to find! Packed up after 2 hours or so and continued driving home.

this hotel is very difficult to find at night, thankfully the gas station was open and able to give directions. I checked in at 10 pm, which apparently was an inconvenience to the employee. I could barely understand her through the window(front desk was closed), she said nothing about wi-fi- or the continental breakfast hours the next morning. The room was on the first floor, felt very unsafe and ended up sleeping with a chair propped against the door for safety reasons. I would never go back again, I would rather sleep in a dorm room!

hard to find but room was clean and comfortable quite area

The hotel location in off the path and in an area that is remote. I was a concerned since I was staying by myself. I would have prefered a higher traffic area that was well lit. Once inside the room, I was surprised that it did have many amenities. The room was somewhat clean, but it did smell of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The beds are not comforable. Overal, it is not worth the price.

It was fine. Did the job, just needed somewhere to clean up and sleep.

hotel was clean and quite. Location tricky to find. Good value.

We looked for a cheap place to stay overnight during OU orientation because we didn't want to stay in the dorms. This hotel serves the purpose to get there late, sleep, get up early, and take a shower. It is old and run-down, not as clean as I would like, and it reeeeeekkkks of Fabreeze which makes me wonder what is being covered up. But the sheets were clean and it's close to campus. Staying in the dorms is a little cheaper, but you don't have to share a bathroom at the hotel.

We came to the area for a roller derby bout and this was conveniently located less than 2 miles from the venue on OU's campus. It is a bit hard to find/get to if you aren't familiar with the area. It is off a side road/driveway away from the main stretch of Columbus Rd. We passed it the first time! We checked in a bit early and they were perfectly okay with that. Staff was very courteous and offered us breakfast even when we came down late. The gentleman at the front desk thanked us for coming in to check out even though we paid online, instead of just leaving. We felt well treated! Room was your average motel room, bed was pretty comfy. Only stayed one night so I am not sure how maintenance/cleaning is. A/C kept us nice and cool.
