The facility was clean and smelled fresh. The restaurant is great. The location is fantastic. Our room light fixture was broken upon checking in and maintenance fixed it with duct tape. The beds are extremely hard, my wife and I woke up with sore lower backs every morning. My son cut his toe pretty bad in the outdoor pool... the life guard on duty did nothing to assist, he said we were welcome to anything in his emergency kit, he wasn't sure what was in the kit since he had never opened it before! Then he took the blood soaked pool towel and threw it in with the other towels to be washed. Even though it was my son, I was still bothered since I felt it was a improperly handled biohazard.

Overall, good property. As most state park facilities, it could use a bit of updating but all-in-all was good.

It was a nice getaway. Scenery was beautiful but my roon not so much! Alarm clock was filty, lamps were dusty, and balcony had webs & bugs everywhere. I had to clean a little to sit down. I drove 2hrs so i wasnt about to leave. I did leave a note on counter for housekeeping.

It’s really dated and old. The whole place smells of musty mold. Wood on the inside of the hotel is rotted away. They cover it up with wood filler and maybe epoxy. I didn’t feel comfortable falling asleep, the lack of maintenance on the place made me think spiders or something were going to come out at night in the room. It was just a gross hotel. I wish they would have priced it accordingly. It is more of a $50 a night place than $100. I thought it would be the best place to stay in the area but just about everything is no bueno in the Mohican area. We liked the pool table and ping pong table. The food was edible but they definitely have cooks and not chefs. The view and ambiance in the restaurant is nice, but still a moldy smell everywhere.

They first put us in a handicapped room and the shower only had a hand hose and the water barely came out. They moved us to a king room and charged me $60 more!! The bed was so uncomfortable, could feel springs in my back. The pillows were horrible! The towels were rough and stiff! The toilet paper was sand paper so need I describe that discomfort? I was so disappointed with this hotel. Will never stay in the future.

Very relaxing place to stay. We really enjoyed our time there.

This was a very nice location for a lodge and it was very comfortable. Our room was a nice size and very clean. The bed was way too hard, but they did provide a knee pillow, which helped. The view was of the parking lot, but beyond that was all trees. We enjoyed our stay at Mohican very much. The breakfast was wonderful and we liked the lounge area. They have lovely walking areas all around the lodge. I would definitely recommend visiting here!

It was a really nice and clean hotel. The paths behind the hotel were breathtaking. The indoor pool was nice and warm, however I wish the outdoor pool was open.

An average hotel. First room had a leaking shower control that had been present long enough to stain the shower pan and low water pressure. The shower floor was slick and my wife fell in the shower, fortunately not fracturing a hip. We bought a $4 shower mat which one would think the hotels liability insurance would have required. The hotel moved us into the next room over which also had low shower flow, possibly related to the problem on the opposite wall.

Beautiful setting overlooking a lake. Quiet. Loved it!
