Marriott at the University of Dayton

3.0 out of 5.0

I stayed there for 1 night. Chech and check out were fast and effortlesd. The room was comfortable and the availability of free Internet was a plus. I have always had excellent service staying at Marriott hotels.

hotel is conveniently located to attend university of dayton basketball games

This is a large hotel; a cozy little inn it ain't. Looking forward to seeing the renovations.

We have kids at University of Dayton and this is the best option for being close and in reasonable cleanliness. Hotel is a bit dated and older in terms of amenities, but the workout area is decent.

The rooms was exactly how you want it, clean and comfortable. The shower was one of the best I have seen (love the water power). The best thing was that I left my iPad in my room after I checked out and the staff was quick to locate it and return it to me. Great service and that is why I am a Marriott Rewards holder.

This is a decent 3 star and all was great except 1) unsupervised teens behaving poorly, using the pool, hot tub, and general use PCs for hours on end, preventing others from enjoying these amenities. hotel staff made no apparent effort to control the teens poor behavior. That said, the breakfast buffet, at additional charge, is fantastic. Staff are all very professional and courteous. The hotel and room are well kept and very clean. However, its not worth $189 per night.

Comfortable and clean! Staff was very professional!

It was average nothing to brag or hate on.its a good hotel.not great.price makes you think you're at a 5 star hotel but ....not

I was in town for business and found the site convenient and the staff very pleasant and accomodating. Would give it high marks!

The Dayton Mariott met all my needs during my stay. I would definitely stay there agaain.

Very nice lobby, staff was great but the rooms were small and there was no complimentary breakfast so I had to go down and buy coffee, and they charge me over 3 dollars a cup, was shocked about that being as nice of a hotel as it was.

The hotel was very very clean. The beds and pillows so comfortable. Everyone is very friendly and the pizza is sooo good and at a very good priced. We have stayed twice and had a great experience each time. Also loved the breakfast buffet!

I loved it there very nice clean and I was able to watch the Carolina game awesome

I was in Dayton for work and spent the night at this Marriott. Nothing special considering the Marriott brand (was expecting it to be a little nicer) but overall absolutely fine. The next night however I ended up staying at the Marriott courtyard for $20 less and found it much nicer experience.

This hotel was in a great location for our needs. Nice area with walking paths and park setting. Enjoyed the bar for a night cap while watching the World Series. Breakfast is nice, a little overpriced but convenient.

Walls were thin. I could hear my neighbor talking on the phone and when she powered down her Mac computer.

The Dayton Marriottt is a classic. They have been there for 30 years and have clearly improved the hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel was clean and had everything I need - free exercise equipment, great conference center, terrific accomodations overall.

attended a funeral. no. not applicable

Attending Dayton Ham Radio Convention. Very clean. Attention to detail. Very friendly. Up to date. On par with any hotel I have every stayed at.

Breakfast was too expensive in the restaurant. Need to over cheaper alternatives.
