Portrush Atlantic Hotel

Nice hotel walking distance to everything in town.

Just one night, but enjoyed wandering around town and the beach.

ETAP Belfast

Very good value - but one annoying problem

This hotel offers really good value for the price it charges. Rooms are small but with all ameneties present (including adequately spaced toilet and shower). Breakfast is quite good, and the availability of complementary coffee/tea and a small selection of pastries all day long is really nice. Walking distance from central bus depot as well as downtown and waterfront congress center. Plenty of good restaurants around. One major problem: There is a bar next to the hotel that uses its court yard to frequently host very loud parties. I was on the fifth floor, but two of the four nights the music was so loud that it seemed I was right next to it. I could even feel the vibrations from the beats. I was told the windows on that side are all going to be replaced shortly by new ones that are more sound proof.

Maldron Hotel Belfast Airport

Great Staff!

My first tip is pay attention to which airport you are going to! This hotel is located across the street from the Belfast International Airport, NOT the Belfast City Airport. The hotel is walking distance from the Belfast International Airport and it’s pretty quiet despite planes flying over. I did not see anywhere to eat nearby, but we were not there very long. The room was a good size and I like that the toilet was separate from the shower. But there were not very many power outlets to plug into. The staff was super super friendly and I felt so happy to be in Northern Ireland! I felt like they sincerely cared about me and hoped I had a pleasant stay. The breakfast selection also great and the staff in the dining area was super friendly also. I really recommend this hotel!
