Walkability from this hotel was great. You can get to fabulous pubs, theatre, restaurants, bus station and tours right out the front door. Need help planning something to do? Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Nice to see genuine smiles on the faces of the staff when you speak to them. Get the Black Cab Tour from the hotel. You will love the history and the private tour of the city. My room was pretty but not very large. It was very clean. Bathroom was my only complaint. The shower didn't have enough power to rinse off so I had to jump in the tub with the handheld head to do that. Grout in shower at the doors and tracks a little gross from years of use but other than that this was a beautiful room. The best fish and chips ever, served in the onsite restaurant. Still dreaming of them.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. Nice sized room with good amenities. Restaurant very nice.

Superior king room was a good size with a couch and sitting area. Large bathroom with separate tub and shower with mosaic tile and glass enclosure. Great service including evening turn down and chocolates on your pillow.

courteous attentive staff, in a well appointed, neat & clean facility

We had to walk from a public parking near by because the hotel said that we had to book a parking in advance.

From the excellent service of the Bellhop, Declan, to the prime location near the train/bus and in the middle of the action, but yet a clean, classy hip hotel! Highly recommend the Fitzwilliam!

Stayed here on the recommendation of a local and it did not disappoint. The Food at both restaurants was excellent, the bar was well stocked with high quality, and the room was very nice.

The hotel is located right in city centre, they usually have a good reputation but on this occasion ,I was left disappointed with conditions in my room and the staff not being very helpful. I am not sure if I will ever go back.

We had a great stay. Staff were courteous and helpful, breakfast was great and a quiet bar to recuperate and snack after a day out and about. We would recommend this hotel to anyone as an excellent option. Two minute walk from bus station and just a great feel to the place.

Spent one night here at the end of a vacation in the United Kingdom. The hotel itself was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and had many amenities. The decor was a little over the top, but clearly a lot of thought put into the design. The location is a short walk to the bus centre, which connects to the airport. It is also in the city center, but on a Sunday, things were pretty quiet in the area. It was actually hard to find a place serving breakfast at 8am. Not a lot to do and see, but a good resting point.

The heat didn't work but they brought a heater right away and fixed the heat the next day. We couldn't get the safe to open but they came immediately and opened it for us. We requested a few more things and they fulfilled those pronto too. Besides that, the room and bed and large tub and sofa made for a great stay. The location is perfect.

Great hotel, great location within walking distance to shopping, Cathedral district and Queens University. Rooms very spacious and comfortable, if you like bathrooms the shower and tub are excellent. Our two teenage girls shared a room and were very happy. Ate at the restaurant, did 3 courses and bottle of wine for 25 pounds per person. Food was very good. Could use a better selection of wines by the glass. We valeted our car and it was very quick and convenient to get whenever we wanted. Would stay again.

Found the accommodations extremely nice. Service provided by staff was outstanding. When asked about a bus tour of the city, the manager arranged for the tour company to pick us up at the hotel's front door.

Only had one day in Belfast, so location was important. This hotel was a good choice. Also found the rooms to be comfortable and the staff was very helpful and efficient. I would definitely recommend it.

The hotel is located half a block from the bus and train station, which was very convienent. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room was fantastic; spa like bathroom and very modern, comfortable sleeping/living area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Belfast that is able to afford the price. :)

It is a very nice hotel, just opened in the spring of this year (2009). It is in a good location, close to the bus station and walkable to city hall and shopping areas.

We were passing through Belfast for an evening, and this hotel was the perfect location for making the most of a short stay. The hotel is a destination in and of itself, for its beautifully decorated lobby and the amazing cuisine at the hotel's restaurant, where having dinner is a must. (The restaurant's open late so you can dine late after visiting a few of Belfast's fine pubs.)
