I traveled Tokyo for 4 nights, and spent the last night, Aug 3rd of 2017 at the hotel. I usually don't go to hotels when traveling alone, but as my brother was working as an intern here, I thought why not spend one night with my brother? When I arrived at the hotel for check-in, I was greeted with an unexpected welcome. They already acknowledged me as a brother of the intern, and provided me of utmost services as if I were VIP. I was very surprised, because I was only a brother of an intern, not even an official staff. From the experience, I have learned that the hotel provides a great shelter along with services to not only customers but staffs including interns. Generally speaking many companies treat interns as expendables. Even though I've only been there for less than 24 hours, I could already feel and see the warmth of family-like atmosphere among staffs. The greater working environments developed, the greater services provided to the customers.
it is a bit tricky to find the reception area, checking in was quite smooth, the front desk agent was nice and showed me the room, it was non-smoking, but I smell the cigarettes so she changed me to a room on 52nd floor. I booked my trip via Amex travel, there supposed to be breakfast buffet included, but it was not on my reservation, Amex travel has missed it on my reservation. However, the front desk agent was very nice and offered me the free breakfast due to my Marriott status. throughout the stay, staffs are very nice and attentive. I love the location and everything it has. overall it is a great hotel with good service. I will definitely stay here again.
If you are looking for a place to stay while in Tokyo, there really is no need to look any further. Spectacular views of the city from my room, only bested by the views from the Executive Club and the lounge. Service was impeccable. Looking forward to my next trip.
This hotel is so stunning in every way. The employees are friendly and helpful. The views are amazing. We enjoyed the breakfast room service a few days, which was delicious. I would love to go back here in the future and highly recommend it to others looking for a luxurious stay.
I loved my stay at the Ritz Tokyo! great and friendly service, and super comfy beds :D My room had an amazing view of the city too. The breakfast has a good selection and it tastes very good. Will definitely be staying there again.
We recently stayed at the hotel for a 5 nights. I wish we could have stayed all two weeks of our vacation. Literally, from the moment we got out of the taxi the staff and property were nothing but perfection. The minute you walk in you may notice this very light and lovely scent throughout the hotel. It just sets this feeling of extreme relaxation. Check in was so easy, our room was beautiful, all the facilities- pool, gym, spa, were amazing and so well appointed. All the staff that we had contact with were an absolute dream. Polite, helpful, warm. We had a club level room which included access to the club on 53rd floor (I think) for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, evening cocktails, and late night desserts--- and everyone who worked in the club- the servers, chefs, and hosts were flawless. The food was always amazing. Drinks and cocktails fabulous. The location of the hotel couldn't be better- linked by an underground mall to the Roppongi station-- from there you can get anywhere. So many wonderful itzakayas in Roppongi. Mid-town was having a wonderful summer in mid-town- with outdoor bars, light shows, and shallow dipping stream for kids and adults. It was almost like this small town feeling in the middle of this crazy bustling city. The Japanese do really know the balance of peace and nature versus movement and modernity. I would come back to Ritz Carlton again and again and again. It was the perfect start to our wonderful vacation.
Wonderful place to stay the staff and the facilities were great, i would recommend it to any of my friends for sure. I will be back, soon i hope. Location is great, theres a sub way station in the basement which was very helpful in getting around the city.
I went with my family to Japan in the summer of 2017 . We stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Tokyo because one year before we were there celebrating our 25 th anniversary and our guide took us to midtown and I loved the area and the entrance to the hotel was filled with cherry blossom trees! That is how we decided to stay at the ritz Carlton... and everything from the minute we arrived until the minute we left was incredible! The location, decor and attentive personnel was extraordinary, we definitely recommend this property for your next stay in Tokyo!
My families and I stayed in the tower rooms for three nights. The night view of Tokyo and the tower is spectacular. The rooms are clean and staffs are very friendly and helpful. So close to metro is definitely another big plus.
1) Exceptional and thoughtful service 2) Excellent breakfast buffet with a view of the Tokyo Tower 3) Above and beyond care - they ordered a Japanese ice skater's poster and book, as a surprise for us before we left. We were looking for that particular book the whole week of our stay. 4) Beautiful location, with great views of the Tokyo 🌃.
