Excellent Service, location, food and rooms! Everything is Prefect! Me and my family have a wonderful vacation with Ritz Carlton Tokyo! We will be back and will recommend my friends to stay in this hotel again!
Love this hotel, Elegant and marvelous! Located at Roponggi and connecting with Mid-Town shopping centre. Perfect place to spend your late afternoon tea at the Cafe & Deli (after sightseeing at the city).
Located in the upper floors of a Mid-Town, Tokyo office tower, this Ritz has a lot of great features. First, the lobby area incorporates a bar, tea room and restaurant with 2-story high windows offering views over an expanse of central Tokyo. Second, the rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Third, the front desk staff is efficient, helpful and truly service oriented. Fourth, the hotel includes a spa and a gym...both of very high quality. Fifth, all of the rooms offer expansive views over sprawling Tokyo with no nearby buildings to block/interfere with that view. Sixth, there is a very large and very nice lounge area with great views (including, when clear, a view of Mt. Fuji). Seventh, there are multiple subway lines crisscrossing on the surrounding streets, so there is very good access to many parts of Tokyo without having to deal with traffic. Eighth, there are several museums located within a short walk and the complex is part of a shopping complex with four, or so, floors of food & beverage outlets ranging from pizza to fine dining. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the amenities are first rate as are the finishings. All-in-all, a quality hotel. From my perspective, the location is not ideal....but that may be because I don't really care for shopping malls, the area is a quite a distance from many of the things I come to Tokyo to see and do, and it is a bit of a hassle, and not inexpensive, to travel about above-ground. That said, it is a very good hotel.
A standard room booked which was immense in size not only by Tokyo standards but on an international scale also. Impeccable service from the staff. Great lobby and lobby bar where trying out a local single malt is an experience on its own.
Stayed here last week for 7 nights and I can honestly say it was perfect. Upgraded us to a wonderful suite, thanks to the excellent service from Alex and Thea on the front desk. Food was excellent and lots of choice of western and local, and at breakfast Leon was very helpful. Felt like the staff were genuinely eager to help, suggesting places to go, restaurants, directions, etc. Room was immaculate, turn down service even filled the ice bucket, as well as replenishing the many amenities. Location is ideal - on the red and grey metro lines and taxi’able to most places in the massive city. Would love to go back - it was the holiday of a lifetime.
The lobby is on the 45th floor. From there the only way to go is up. Views to die for. Superb helpful staff. Large comfortable rooms and bathroom. Toto toilet with seat warmer is always a welcomed surprise. Breakfast buffet was lavish. Great restaurants. Lobby bar is vast and stunning. The hotel is attached to the Tokyo Midtown Mall. Great location in Midtown and walking distance to Roppongi Hills or quick cab ride to the Ginza or really anywhere. The concierge sent us to a restaurant that didn’t meet our needs. We thanked the owner and left to find another spot. They called the Ritz to tell the concierge that we were displeased. When we returned to our room, the attached note and candy were waiting for us. Above and beyond the call of duty. A great place. We were there for five nights. I wish I was still there!!!
I recently spent couple of days at the Ritz Tokyo, I must say that from the greeting at checking in and out of the Hotel Manager Mr. Kominami to the amazing room amenities, club lounge, wonderful restaurants with personalized service and creative offering. The Ritz Tokyo stand out of the competition, I will defenetely come back soon and recommend this hotel.
We had the most fabulous trip in Tokyo! We loved the area and felt like we were staying at the top of the world. Upon check in my fiancé and I were upgraded to a gorgeous suite on the 51st floor overlooking the Tokyo Tower. I am gold with Marriott so I think that helped as my stay was a large point redemption. Our jaws were on the floor when we saw the room- they pull out all of the stops for this place. We also had a corner unit which was very special in the bedroom as we had panoramic + views. It was amazing. The bathroom was nice and as always I enjoy a good robe. We were super bummed to find out when we were checking out there were pajamas in the closet drawer for us to use. We never found those, the bike instructions, the aux cable and the postcards until we were leaving and checking drawers for things we could have left. When we were gone one night our room was decorated in rose petals and we were left a plate of decadent handmade chocolates and sparkling waters. We loved our nespresso machine and utilized it many times while we were there. We very much enjoyed the hot tub at the spa level but found the bathing cap rule comical. My biggest and only complaint is there are no plugs to charge your phone anywhere near the bed! We are “millennials” so we typically sleep with our phones next to us. This proved to not be possible. I was also bothered that I had nowhere to plug in my noise machine. Overall a simply fabulous vacation at the Ritz Tokyo. Every time I stay at a Ritz it reiterates to me why they’re my favorite brand in the world. Happy travels!
My wife actually already left a 5 star review based on our last stay, which was fantastic. However, having such experienced appauling service at Ritz Carlton Singapore, it made me realise how exceptional Ritz Carlton Tokyo is. Not just against other group hotels. It's really world class. Please go and experience for yourself if you can. Friendly staff, great restaurant, amazing location, phenomenal club lounge (!!).
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ritz Carlton Tokyo with my husband, 6-year old daughter, mother and father. We stayed for 4 nights at the end of October and our experience throughout the stay was first class. From a smooth check-in, to immaculate rooms, we immediately felt very welcome. We had club lounge access during our stay, and the hospitality and attentiveness we experienced from Katori-san and his team was excellent. The selection of food and drink throughout the day was fantastic both in terms of choice and quality. They were especially kind in ensuring my daughter was happy and had enough candy! High quality service is a real rarity nowadays, but our experience with Ritz Carlton Tokyo was personal, comfortable and very enjoyable. As a family we have always regarded Ritz Carlton group highly, but the Tokyo hotel is now very much our firm favourite! We have already booked to stay again in mid-2018 and can’t wait to go back! I would also like offer special thank to Ms Fumie Sugimori at the club lounge , she was very kind to offer a nice pack of candies for my daughter upon check out, so my daughter could enjoy on her way back to HK. And Mr. Kaz, he was offering the warmest hospitality everyday every evening when we were in the club lounge. And the lazy who cooks our eggs in the morning in the club lounge, she is very passionate about her work and I think her eggs is the best I have had in hotel breakfast ! All in all, Ritz Carlton Tokyo is my favourite hotel in Tokyo !
