The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo5.0 out of 5.0

Although we just stayed here for one night on our way back from other cities, the Ritz Carlton Tokyo did not disappoint. Amazing views of the city from our room, and the club services were what you expect. As a longtime Ritz Carlton member, the hotel was exactly what I love about the brand. The staff were all lovely and eager to help and made sure all of our requests were looked after. The concierge staff were lovely and a pleasure to deal with.
We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel for a week in January 2018. The comfort of its Rooms (on the 48-51st Floors) are spacious and comfortable with, of course, stunning views of Tokyo (including Mt. Fuji, from some rooms), But what is truly exceptional is the superb service! The Concierge Desk (in our case Alex) almost begged to be of service and made our Tokyo stay enjoyable by providing both good ideas for Restaurants and Sights to See, but also the encouragement and instruction to use the Subway System, rather than expensive Taxis.
I just got back to Washington, DC after being in Japan for two weeks, spending quality time with my father and my family, enjoying good food and sightseeing. I really want to thank Ritz Carlton Tokyo for their kind hospitality, we certainly enjoyed ourselves and it was thanks to the wonderful Ladies & Gentlemen (from the front drive staff, front desk, concierge, housekeeping, and F&B outlets - Mr. Cates and Mr. Receveau Stora certainly made sure we were taken care of at the Lobby Lounge). My father and I enjoyed our room (spectacular views), and were so impressed about the service we were given and the guest recognition! We look forward to staying again at the RC Tokyo! Thank you so much!
Luxurious rooms (great views) and great location the hotel is great for guests who want to access nearby Roppongi and Yebisu. Located next to train station and mall with many great food options nearby. On par with many of the other 5 star hotels in Tokyo. The concierge staff were very helpful and provided great recommendations. Sushi Kai Kai near to the hotel was a hidden gem!
Traditionally-attired, friendly, and efficient Guest Services staff provided us with a luxuriously appointed room which Housekeeping maintained at a just-checked-in look, paying meticulous attention to detail. The panoramic views were impressive, both from the room and the bountiful breakfast buffet. Having a late-lunch reservation at Hinokizaka, the hotel's Japanese cuisine restaurant, was fortuitous: shortly after we arrived in the Tempura room (which seats 10 diners only), a group of four departed, leaving my family and I to enjoy an almost 2-hour private dining experience! Erica, a knowledgeable and delightful Hostess, guided us through each offering as presented by our Chef, a man of efficient moves, who graciously suggested which of the myriad spice options would best accompany a given tempura dish. Nice. Concierge staff generously suggested and arranged activities and conveniences for me and my family. In fact, all Guest Services staff that we encountered were courteous, kind, and professional; SPA staff were quite personable. Thank you, Ritz-Carlton Tokyo, for a most satisfactory and memorable holiday.
Tremendous hospitality from the moment you arrive. Alexandre Prouvost will treat you like royalty. I think this is one of the best hotels where I have ever stayed. You get smiles form everyone you meet.
I don't why I didn't write a review of Ritz-Carlton Tokyo sooner! This is my second time visiting this hotel and for this trip we came to celebrate my wife's birthday. The rooms are big and have all the amenities. We had a room which offered views of Tokyo Tower and had access to the club lounge. Every staff member was over the top friendly and greeted us by name every time we entered the club lounge. I was super surprised they would remember my name in many different occasions throughout stay. They also set up an awesome happy birthday treat for my wife. Thanks again! Overall a simply fabulous stay at the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo. Every time we stay at a Ritz it reiterates to me why I love staying with them.
Of course Ritz Carlton's have a great name but this one is on point. The rooms are spacious and have views that are stunning if the weather cooperates. I was on the 48th floor and could see Mt Fuji when it was clear. The bathrooms are large and have both a shower and a bathtub and double sinks so you can spread out. The best part is the toilets which the seats are heated and have all the buttons to clean yourself, plus it flushes by itself. Magical and if your like me, will want one for your home. I ate breakfast each morning at the buffet and it was excellent. The staff is friendly and so accommodating. The hotel is well located and easy to get to from many attractions. I highly recommend staying here as it's comfort at its best.
Stayed for 4 nights on a business trip. The location of this hotel is ideal for Tokyo’s nightlife and close to business district by car. Staff are amazing and the lobby bar has wonderful views of the city from the 45th floor. Rooms are perfect. Quiet and dark. Can’t fault this hotel at all.
This was the best hotel I have ever and will ever stay at in my life. The views and lobby are incomparable. The service was impeccable - people bow to you as you are in the elevator, promptly bring anything upon request, are so nice and knowledgeable and speak perfect English. Breakfast was amazing. Also loved the live entertainment at night in the lobby. We got upgraded bc of my husband's status and our suite had views of Mt Fuji with 2 separate rooms and a corner view of the entire city. Thank you to the Ritz for making our last stop in Japan on our honeymoon so memorable.
