We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The restaurant of the hotel is excellent, breakfast was delicious!!! The hotel is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the ferry, which takes you across to Amsterdam Centraal Station and the city center. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a comfortable stay in a peaceful area while still having easy access to the main attractions.

A basic en suite room with air conditioning. We needed a place to stay within easy reach of Centraal station and an early departure. Poppies fitted the bill and had plenty of food options nearby.

Great value. Staff was lovely and we were very happy with the accommodation. It was clean and fresh. Obviously it’s a little small and there was no window (however there was AC) but considering the prices of other accommodations in Amsterdam this is a really good option if you have a budget. It’s not the most central either which allowed us to explore the transportation systems, tram, train etc. However the rides were short and we were happy to explore. Staff was super helpful with directions too.
