Chose this chain due to a brilliant stay in one of their Munich hotels, wasn’t disappointed. Just as expected, small rooms but has everything you need. Really good location for trains/trams etc, really handy for gigs at ziggo dome etc and equally handy for heading into city. They also rent bikes which is a must, yeah a wee bit more expensive than renting in town but really good quality bikes. All staff were friendly, and genuinely happy to help. Didn’t have breakfast but did look fresh and healthy. Would definitely stay there when over for next gig

The rooms are a little small, but who cares when you are sleeping. The hotel is very reasonably priced with good public transportation from and the airport and to anywhere in Amsterdam. Also the breakfast is good and reasonably priced. What else do you need?

we were there iApril 2017 the condo was centurally located very nice there was a farmers market across the street we went there and bought cheese fruit and bread went great with our wine and breakfast the transportation was close by as soon as we figured out the routes people wer very friendly and helpful when we were lost

the location of motel one, near waterlooplein, is very convenient as there are lots of trams and metros and it is also easy walking/bicycling distance from everywhere. the staff are friendly and helpful. it is clean, modern, with a cool design. as many people have pointed out, the hotel is small. rooms are small, the breakfast area is too small for the number of guests. we had one functioning lift and this is not enough for the number of guests. so, all in all, not quite the place to linger but a good base to discover amsterdam.

I have been to Amsterdam many times this is the best business hotel for a big exhibition literally across the road and very close to the train station The new metro will be opening soon together with the trams make getting into town very easy Very good buffet breakfast in the morning

This hotel does the rare thing of doing what it says it will do. There was no fancy amenities or extra features. The rooms were clean and well laid out, check-in was smooth, all the basics were in place, and the hospitality was pleasant. They do not try very hard but make sure what they do is done well. Only stayed one night and did not have a chance to try their breakfast, but wish I had. Well worth the money compared to many more upscale establishments.

Stayed a long weekend in the Motel One Amsterdam. As usual you get what you pay at Motel One. The excellent rating is matching price, location and service provided. We traveled as family ( 2 adults and one baby). Location of the Hotel is a bit outside of City Center ( 30 minutes by Tram and 15-20 by underground). Both stops are very convenient located close to the Hotel. Check in was efficient and i have to say, extremely friendly and helpful staff members. I was a bit concerned as we where travelling first time with the little one. Hotel staff made us feel very welcome, let us borrow an kettle and we could use the microwave in the staff room to heat up the food. The room was a standard Motel One room with no fuss, but again for the price you are paying it is more than you can ask for. Clean, bright and comfy beds. Yes the rooms are on the smaller side. Breakfast can get crowded, i believe the Hotel was full, but we never had any problems to find a place to have our breakfast. Breakfast selection was very good! Overall, I can highly recommend that place and i would return anytime. Last but not least, not only the front desk staff is extremely helpful and committed, all staff members are really great and will definitely add to a fabulous stay.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Room is small. No place to put luggage, hang more than a coat, no drawers. There is no telephone in the Room. When we asked, they said that they cut costs that way. What if there is an emergency? Use your cellphone! Or come down to the desk to report it. Nice lobby.

Excellent hotel with really nice rooms, conveniently located outside the city center, a short walk to a tram stop (Europapleij) and a metro station (RAI), a supermarket beside it, very smooth check-in with the friendliest staff. Great place to stay in Amsterdam! Thank you! ~Harold and Krisjo, honeymooners from the Philippines

I have been in this hotel for the exhibition. It is just in front of RAI the AMS exhibition center. I love this hotel because, after a full day of Fair I need to avoid a "boring" standard hotel. This is has a nice design lobby friendly and cool. Great! The room was small and simple, but enough for this low cost hotel. I will come back again for my next Tradeshow in AMS
