Motel One Amsterdam

I loved this place! All I really need from a hotel in a city, where I spend most of my time outwards, is good bed, good shower and towels, and cleanliness. All of which were excellent in Motel One Amsterdam. I honestly can't understand the difference between a motel and hotel after this, even the lobby was so cool with a big bar and everything. The whole place is very modern and stylish. Small, but kinda cute detail, is the "fireplace" in the room creating cozy atmosphere. You don't mind not having a view. There's only one thing that would have made this place perfect, in my eyes, is if there a water kettle with coffee and tea bags. Other than that, the place is highly recommended by me.

Clean, cosy and modern! Breakfast was very nice. Friendly and helpful staff! Overall excellent experience! Very close to the city centre. jhmcguihuh9ugioerjgvnoievnfdokj; nvijfngu;fdnvjiungrtljvntiungjri

Good location easy to get around, supermarket just down the corner and you can take a tram for old Amsterdam landmark. Big station to get around other part of The Nederlands Check in quick very professional receptionists, i get big room with the beautiful view of the garden, beautiful bath room and nice bed, the the gave me the best room on right wing side of the building in higher floor can see all the Berlin landmark from my room, good bed,big room and room clean every day with the excellent customer service. Accept one thing before i depart to this accommodation,i rang the hotel is there any charge for stay extra hours they said is "ok" stayed in room until 3PM,but i got different answer while in last day before i check out, this gentleman say NO quite but is OK i can left my language and make another trip to see Amsterdam, but my problem is this gentleman quite not nice toward his trainee staff in Front Office. Best Breakfast a lot variety, healthy food with excellent service

We stayed here for 4 nights over xmas and really enjoyed your stay. The hotel is on the cheaper side for Amsterdam, and you pay for what you get. Good, clean rooms. No extras - just a place to stay. They have an optional buffet breakfast down stairs. In terms of transport, the RAI station is 5 minutes away. We got a train here from the airport and then took a train here, two stops .The airport is 10min away so quite easy to get to and the centrum of Amsterdam 20min from the station, using the tram service. About 20-minute walk, you're in quite a nice area of food and shopping. However, that's about it. In terms of Winter, not the prettiest view! The Christmas market was a 5-minute walk away with a supermarket downstairs too. Staff were superb. We wanted to hire bikes for three hours to bike to the park, however, they are very expensive in terms of the fact you have to hire them for the day. I wish they were more lenient with the timings.

I first stayed at this hotel in May 2016 on my first trip to Amsterdam and was not disappointed. I didn’t know what to expect on my first trip to the city so opted for a hotel just a little out from the centre. It’s fresh, modern & very clean and the costs are very cheap for what you get! The hotel is also right next to a tram stop into the city centre as well as the direct train to the airport a few minutes away. I loved it here so much, i came back again in December 2017 with friends. Everything was just as i’d left it! The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is clean and modern with a huge walk in shower and wonderful spa like products. I would say my only complaints would be that the terrace area on the first floor wasn’t open this time round & also the lack of variety of snacks from the bar. Other than that I think this is the only hotel i will stay in when in Amsterdam!

We stayed at Xmas here. Hotel is next to tram station and you are in 15min you are in city center. Another plus is that you can take a direct train from airport to the hotel. rooms are small but efficient and very clean. the lounge area is great, nicely decorated, calm and cosy. Breakfast has big variety. the only -tive point is tiny but breakfast area gets really crowded when the hotel is full (ie at xmas time) so you may need to use sofas and coffee tables or high chairs when there is not enough seat which is not superly convenient but all good and it is not the end of the world. highly highly recommended if you are in Amsterdam. Better to stay in a new, clean, modern hotel at better price instead of insititng for city center tiny/old rooms

I went for Christmas in Amsterdam and stayed there for 4 nights. The hotel is no more than 5 minutes walk from RAI station. The airport is 10min and the centrum of Amsterdam 15min from the station. There is a super market just around the corner. The staff was very kind and helpful in everything we needed. The room was a little small but very clean. The reception area was very cosi if you wanted to eat or drink something

My husband and I stayed in Motel One this summer while doing a short tour of Europe. It was very affordable and the quality of the hotel really surpassed our expectations. We really enjoyed our stay - the room was compact but perfect for our needs - it was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The hotel is a bit out of the city but that didn't matter at all as the metro (and tram!) were so nearby that you could be in the centre of Amsterdam within 15 minutes (the service is very frequent too!). The bar area was lovely to sit in - we even sat outside in the sun one day with a glass of wine! I would stay here again if we go back to the city.

Stayed here for 4 nights recently. We were early but was able to check in as they had a room. The bar and reception area is impressive. The room was clean and the size was fine for us. People have commented that it’s small and there are no wardrobes. There are places to hang stuff and hangers plus we only really slept there so this was perfect. Our towels were changed each day. It’s about 30 minutes from the main center but easy to get to. They make a lovely not chocolate in the hotel bar which is cheaper than the city center. All the staff were friendly and the WiFi was good. There is a supermarket two minutes from the hotel. The only thing that would of been nice is a fridge for some water as the rooms can get hot. I would definitely stay again.
