Very relaxing and great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Kimpton Hotel DeWitt is near everything you'll want to see in Amsterdam--museums, Central Station, Red Light District, cool neighborhoods, boat tours, nightlife, etc. Located on a busy street with easy to use city trams, the hotel offers a wonderful respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our inner courtyard room was devoid of any and all street noise and was spotlessly clean. The room offered a king-sized bed (very comfortable with nice linens), mini-bar refrigerator, nice tv, and well appointed bathroom. We did, however, wish that the room came with a closet for hanging items (we were staying for a week). The staff at the DeWitt could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The concierge happily arranged our tickets to the museums and trams and later explained how to get same day tickets for the Anne Frank House (very challenging last minute). The front desk staff was always polite and helpful. Special thanks to the Duty Managers (Sicerea and Evelien) who sent treats to our room, including a bottle of sparkling wine and deserts for my birthday. Their personalized, handwritten notes were special. We also enjoyed the free wine and appetizers each night from 5 - 6 p.m. in the lobby. A great way to wind down the day. Finally, our dining experience in the restaurant was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel DeWitt and thank all the staff--front desk, concierge, servers, housekeeping, etc. for making our days and nights great.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries.

It felt more like home , love the hotel and its staff , everyone is very welcoming. And the room capacity is resnable, and the room smells quite good. They provide coffee" npresso" tubes and bottles of fancy water everyday. overall great experience, and I would def come back!

I really liked the hotel. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had everything that I needed. The location of the hotel is great. It is 5 minutes walk from the central station so I didn't have to pay for taxi from/to the airport. Plenty of things to do and see nearby. Also, the the hotel staff was very helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend and definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel has a beautiful design. The rooms and bathrooms are moderns, great finishes, pillows, TV, including the BBC channels so English speakers can stay up to date (unlike France.) Fantastic location close to the central train station, canal tours, restaurants, shopping, short walk to all the sites.

Great hotel. Very close to train station, right on major tram and bus line. Lots of cafes nearby but hotel restaurant and bar were excellent! Staff were extremely helpful and had tickets to all major museums and transportation. Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful! The location is just right and the breakfast is something I looked forward to daily!

This hotel has an awesome location but yet was very quiet and a great place to come back to in the evening. Bed was comfortable but made you roll towards the middle. Bathroom was not THAT clean but was fine. Rooms are super small but thats normal for Europe. Breakfast was OK but overpriced (25 euro). If you do go, make sure to order a fresh omelette. Cappuccino was good too. In hindsight, the hotel was great and very modern - however we realized that you can also stay in a 3 star hotel right in the city center for less money, and enjoy the whole day sightseeing and touring and it really doesn't matter where you sleep as long as you have a clean, decent room. We were never in our hotel room so we could have stayed somewhere less expensive. Just our opinion! But the hotel is nice.

great location very friendly staffespecially liked 110 outlets in hotel room

This was a great choice. I got a good price online, and the hotel was great. Located only a few blocks from the Central Station, in the heart of downtown. The room was roomy and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and by joining the frequent traveller program I got free Wi-Fi.

Great location within walking distance of Central Train Station. Center city location allowing easy distance to the neighborhoods. Good staff, good amenities and quality room. Bathroom small which is typical of European bathrooms. Everything was clean. AC, safe and TV all real good. Bar & restaurant looked good but did not try either. Good value.

The hotel was very nice. I am a platinum priority club member and appreciated the room upgrade. I was a little surprised that they did not allow admission to the priority club lounge figuring that is always included for platinum members. I was informed with the room upgrade that is all you get. Overall it was a very nice stay and would go back again.

The location is a short walk from the Central Train station in amsterdam which connects you to the airport. It is however a further walk to areas of interest due to the proximity to the central station - reccomend the trolleys to get around from this hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the club room was a nice extra. The only down side was the view. The hotel is being renovated and all I saw from my room was a sheet covering scaffolding.

As with all Crowne plaza hotels, the bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were exceptional at meeting all my needs as a traveller. The location was perfect. It was a 3 minute walk from Central station with dozens of great restaurants within a very close distance. The GVB is right out the front door, which opens many great options in touring the city. Yellow bike tours is 3 or 4 minutes up the street too. The location is hard to beat. The only two cons in my eyes would be the size of the bathroom and the air conditioning. The bathroom is very small. All the amenities of the bathroom are fantastic, but two adults cannot get ready at the same time. The air was at max the entire time I was there and it was never quite cool enough for me. Also, on a few sites, it shows that there is a pool. That is not correct. It was turned into a conference room. I would have chosen a different hotel had I known this.

Very nice and clean hotel. The price is reasonable. The room size is quite good. The location is perfect. It is not a 5-star hotel, but a very good and stylish 4-star one.

Great location, clean, safe hotel. Very pleased. Would stay here again. Close walk to train station and everything in AMS

This hotel was over priced and under PERFORMED Additional charges when checking out ( city tax)??? Lobby doubles as a restaurant and you cannot meet friends and host there!! without spending money. Rooms were very small for the price. Overall I would not stay there again. No Pool.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The hotel itself was quite nice and my room was very comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. On top of all of these great things, the location is very centrally located which made it easy to see many parts of the city by foot. I highly recommend this hotel!
