Absolutely beautiful stay! Comfortable room and great breakfast. Wish the staff would have told us the “minibar” downstairs was free when we arrived. This was an amazing stay and will stay again.

I already sent a review, which was amazing. Really enjoyed this hotel, especially the free beer and wine in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breafast was excellent. I would stay there again when I go to Amsterdam.

The Highlander was in a very central location. The hotel is updated and cute, I loved the free breakfast, snacks and drinks in the lobby. The rooms, even though I paid for a larger room, were extremely small, especially with a crib. There was also no way to get into the hotel with our stroller without carrying it up or down stairs. Otherwise, great hotel.

Stay was alright!

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. The room was spacious and staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable and loved the rain shower. The breakfast was alright…but also very convenient. Liked that they offered snacks and drinks throughout the day. My biggest complaint is that the room was extremely dusty and that it was very hard to sleep the first night due to loud street noise. It wasn’t until later on the second day that we realized the window had been open all along. It has been open prior to our stay. We slept so much better after shutting it the second night. I have a feeling that’s what caused the room to be so dusty. We looked under the bed and there was a ton of dust.

Not really any food options except for breakfast however several places within walking distance. Bed was super comfy!!, hotel was a solid choice to either walk to jordaan or the busy streets of red light district. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is ideal; perfect for exploring Amsterdam and convenient for taking short breaks throughout the day if you need to rest or refresh. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I especially appreciated the complimentary hot and cold beverages (tea, coffee, soda, etc.) available all day in the lobby—a really nice touch. I was pleasantly surprised by the great city view from my room. Although the weather was mild during my visit, it was great to have a well-functioning AC.
