The hotel when you walk in looks like a library including a reading are with many available books, The staff was very helpful with my bags. The breakfast was very good with one major problem, it is not easy for guests with ability issues The breakfast room is at the top of long steep staircase. I chose this hotel due to the location which was very close to the Oosterdok where people taking a bike and barge trip will leave from.

The hotel is within walking distance of the train station and of the city centre but it felt very peaceful and quiet. It's in a beautiful building with really interesting decor in the shared areas. Very helpful and well-informed staff. We were able to use the room as soon as it was ready (before the official check-in time). Comfortable clean room and bathroom, very large double bed. The room felt very warm in the summer weather but an electric fan was provided. The breakfast was great - a wide selection of hot and cold food, really good value for money. We'd be happy to stay there again.

I had a two night stay at this charming hotel in Amsterdam. The staff was all friendly, helpful and polite. The library in the reception area is so cute. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Central Train Station. The rooms are modern, clean and recently renovated. I will stay here in future visits and recommend it.
