The hotel is really close to the metro station and you can easily get rather quick to the city center. The services are poor I've stayed for 2 weeks and they've changed the sheets after a week, 3 days randomly I was left with no towels. I had to ask for hangers for 2 days. The floor was never vacuumed or cleaned during my stay. The personnel is nice and always says yes to anything you ask for.
I stayed here with a friend for 2 nights and I have nothing to fault with the hotel. It's out of the centre of Amsterdam but there's a metro station right around the corner, with metros running straight to Centraal Station, so it's very handy for getting back into the city. We personally chose the hotel as we were attending a gig at AFAS Live on our last evening - right by the Amsterdam ArenA - and this is literally 2 minutes away on the metro. Otherwise it's a 20 minute metro ride into the city. The room itself was very clean and modern. It was quite small but for two people, it was the right size, but I'm unsure on what it would be like for parties of more than two. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was also very clean, with a great walk-in shower. We didn't speak a huge amount with the staff at the hotel, as we were out most of the time but when we did, we found them helpful. The free wifi was also very quick and easy to use. If you're looking for a cheap hotel and don't mind being out from the centre of Amsterdam, then this hotel is a great option. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
We booked and paid for 2 twin rooms at this hotel via Hotels.com. The receptionist insisted they'd not received any payment from Hotels.com and told me to make a deposit by my credit card. Which will be refunded when they receive the payment. We arrived at the midnight after a long trip. My mother, aunt and uncle, all over 70 years old, were too tired to discuss. I just agreed the transaction by credit card and the receptionist guaranteed 100% refund when they get payment from Hotels.com. 44 days has passed and I've still not received any refund even they agreed double charged and refund by e-mail. Now they don't even reply my e-mail. I warn everyone do not do the same mistake as me. You'll never get any refund from them. Fraud!
the location is ok, amenitities the only think is missing for this category of hotel, are the slippers. Then the room wasn't as clean as it should, plus we asked to have our sheets changed every day and not only they didn't do it but they didn't changed them from 5 nights.
Excellent choice!!! The room was not cramp, modern and updated!!! The staff extremely helpful...very convenient to walk to the metro!! Can easily get to the main attractions and back!! Will definitely book again
The hotel has an excellent location - close to the metro line and close to the Amsterdam ArenA - we were there for a concert - a little ways from Amsterdam central. Free parking was wonderful. We had drinks at their bar one night and that was nice too. While I know this is a new hotel, we definitely ran into a few hiccups. The first room we were in, the toilet started running. It was pouring hot, steamy water in the toilet and would not stop. Because of this, we ended up having to change rooms. When we got to our new room and tried to use the shower, no soap/shampoo came out of the dispenser. Luckily, my wife brought some of her own, so we ended up using that. We also went to turn on the TV, and while the light on the TV switched from red to green, nothing actually came on the TV. When I tried to tell the reception about it at check out, the response I received was "You need to contact the front desk to learn how to turn on the TV." Another guest was complaining about the same issue at the same time. If there are specific directions, then that information should be shared with guests as they check in. Not a huge deal- it's not like we went to Amsterdam to watch TV, but an inconvenience nonetheless. Another time, we went to the elevator and the panel to call the elevator was off and laying on the ground. There were also some splattered stains that went from the door frame of the bathroom to the ceiling to the opposite wall. So while we overall enjoyed the location and for the most part what we needed from the hotel, hopefully, they can get some of these issues fixed to help for smoother stays for their guests.
My sisters and I stayed here 19/24 September. Hotel was a converted office block on a business park, only opened for business early august so everything was fresh and new. Couldn't fault the service given by all the staff especially the receptionists Cyro and Mellom, they chased up the taxi we had ordered to the airport, insisting we had coffee whilst we waited, helped us with our luggage and in general made our stay really enjoyable.
Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Great location if you are driving. Free parking and free wifi. Receptionist recommended to take train to get downtown as parking is horrendous. Train station is just a few minutes walk away. Tip: buy the day pass. Would definitely stay here again.
We was charged extra on arrival. Cleaning staff were not happy when we didn't want them to come in our room yet. They also tried to charge us extra when we checked out, only for them to realize we had already paid. Someone hasn't put the money we paid onto the system.
Visited this hotel start of September for 2 nights on a trip to amsterdam. Hotel was in good location close to metro with frequent 54 running. Close to nearby town 'Bijlmer' with plenty of shops and food around -right next to football stadium so guessing could get busy. Check in wasn't the most pleasant. They didn't even acknowledge us walking in or in the queue, then when got to the front straight away assumed I was with the man in front. Simple mistake but when i went to tell them, they ignored me and just insisted for my passport. Room was a decent size and seemed very modern and clean. Perfect for the few nights. Cleaners weren't amazing. Bed sheets were changed simply just made, bins taken out and that was the extent of it. Also asked receptionist on way in for some more sugar which he said he would send up, hour and a half later (11:30pm) got a call waking us all up asking if I still wanted it. All in all it was a cheap basic hotel for a couple nights away, it kept us warm and a place to freshen up but nothing amazing about it.
