I paid the extra fee for the breakfast, and bugs were in the salt shaker. The bed sheet had a tiny blood stain.

I made the mistake of reading the reviews for this hotel while settling in on my first night there. The reviews are pretty horrid and frankly I couldn't get to sleep after reading reviews from multiple sites. After 3 days there I just have to point out that many of the negative things I read were just simply not true during my stay, and here are just a few: The room was clean, I did not get bitten by bed bugs, I didn't hear rodents in the walls at night, the shower had plenty of water pressure and hot water, there was shampoo/body wash, shower drained normally so no flooding, 75% of the 4 interactions I had with 3 different front desk staff were positive, my full deposit was returned to me upon checking-out, and breakfast spread was adequate. As for the things that did bother me and/or are mentioned by other reviewers are: my windows' mechanics were broken so it didn't open or close right, the bed was uncomfortable, ventilation fan in bathroom was inoperable, collection of deposit combined with no visitors and no food allowed in room and having to give your room key to front desk when going out makes you feel like a hostel except you are paying for and staying at a 3-star hotel, most of the sockets are tied to the bright recessed lighting so no lights no power, I was never relaxed because I always felt like someone was watching me, the place exudes not a creepy but definitely an abnormal vibe.

EXTREMELY overpriced, dated, room in disrepair, staff not pleasant, rodents in room. Experience very dissatisfactory. Breakfast edible but not anything special .

The rooms have a very strong smell of mold !!! Doors / windows are rotten The floor is cracked and broken all over the rooms. The Public areas have a strong smell of cigarette smoke that already been soaked in the walls The Bathroom Has strong smell of mold !! , clogged sink and a broken bath the rooms have  Poor lighting and a lamp in the room had a broken plug ! The Internet is very weak and a surcharge! Breakfast is rudimentary and felt like it has been forced on the hotel ! The is rated as 3 star hotel ( i have no idea how / way ? ) i would definitely define it as -3 The hotel is not livable & needs urgent renovation !!

Place was great. There are no bed bugs. Those people who post pics or claim to get bed bugs, that's from messing with hookers without a rubber. It's in heart of it all. Affordable and clean. Front desk staff was helpful with everything. It's not the ritz and for the money it is a great place. I'm from NJ. We complain about everything but this place is fabulous. Yeah it's small but it's again not the ritz. Red light is 2 blocks away. Food and shopping at your door step. Bus across street. Train a block away. Bike rental place around corner. Do it!!
