I stayed together with two friends in a triple bedroom for two nights. The staff was extremely helpful, they gave us plenty of good tips on bike rental, restaurants, bars and other. The room was clean, had a modern decor and a view of the canal and trees outside the floor-to-ceiling window. It had a complimentary minifridge with sodas, water and beers that was refilled throughout our stay. Also tea and coffee in the room. The location near Vondelpark made it easy to reach other destinations in the city by foot and bike. We had a lovely stay here and I would recomend others a visit.
Clean rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff, perfect location to get around the town. Went for a friends 40th and this was the perfect hotel for us. Special thanks to Lionel, (night shift manager) for his hospitality when we came back in need of pizza and a couple more drinks in the bar! Top man, great service, made our stay even better. Would definitely stay here again.
Inside a building, quite hard to find, but very modern and confortable. Excellent position 10 minutes walk from Leidseplein and with tram stops at 5 minutes. Staff very kind, the cleaning staff not so clever, you have to ask for everything. A good place.
Upon arrival we were greated by a very welcoming and friendly hotel Manager. Our room was pleasently nice and clean. Located about 20 minutes from the Amsterdam hub of tourists. Daily fresh breakfast cooked to order. Room to close to breakfast and kitchen areas.
Very expensive hotels in Amsterdam. Found this one a bit outside the tourist area. Glad we did. Could discover a bit of how the amsterdammers live. Good size room for the money. Exceptional service in the reception. Very good breakfasts. They could change the towels, I think they have lived their useful lives!!! For the money (300€) per night, we could have decent bath towels!!! But anyway, the hotel is alright.
This is the first time I have ever written a poor review. I booked direct with the hotel because the web promised a 15% discount for doing so. Once booked I realised that I had paid the same price as on Trivago. Upon complaining the reception manager offered me an €20 refund, equivalent to 5% discount. When I disagreed, I was politely told that I should cancel my booking and go elsewhere. My issue was not the size of the refund, but the fact that I was misled and that I was not taken serious as a valued customer.
The staff are extremely nice. You can't fault them. Reception is on the 4th floor. The room was clean but very small. The free mini bar just had 2 bottles of Heineken in it so it was no use to us. There's free tea & coffee in the room. A/C worked fine. The TV remote didn't. It's a tram or a 15min walk from the main tourist squares. The trams are great though. Well worth buying the travel pass for 1,2 or 3 days. If I went again I'd stay closer to the centre.
Staff very friendly , very clean , room VERY small could not get to the far side of the bed without hitting head off Tv , handle on window was broken but ac worked fine. If going back to Amsterdam I would probably try another hotel bit of advice , get the travel card as soon as you get off the airplane it's soooo worth it
Located a bit off the tourist tracks but still not a long walk from shops and restaurants in the west part of Amsterdam. This is a good hotel for a long weekend. Clean and fairly modern. Stable Wifi, minibar and coffeemachine. The reception is a bit difficult to find and you need the keycard to get into the building. Rooms are decently sized and well designed. Bathroom is spacious but would be much better if there were shelves or anything to place your stuff... The lighting in the bathroom is also mediocre. There is no restaurant in the building but breakfast can be had in the same area where the reception is. There are otherwise alternative places for breakfast nearby. Ventilation is rather noicy but can be swiched off. There is aircondition but it was not tested by us as outside temperature was not that warm. Some noice could be heard from oter rooms but traffic was not a problem.
This is a lovely modern building that houses a number of small hotels. The room was beautifully decorated & and very well finished with a beautiful walk in shower, It is described as a small double room however it is indeed very small! Having said that it was really nice & modern and the price was great for a short stay we didnt spend much time there and we slept extremely well in a very comfortable bed in quiet surroundings. The staff were very pleasant & the room was cleaned daily and left spotless with clean towels. The minibar had some free beers, water & soft drinks which was a really nice touch, there was also a nespresso machine in the room so the coffee was decent. This hotel is located near the Van Gough museum and is in an upmarket, non touristy, safe neighborhood with some nice bars & restaurants in the area. Its a bit of a walk to Leidseplein Square & Dam Square but we didn't mind strolling down its a nice walk, beware of the bicycles they are everywhere!! You need your wits about you in this fabulous city! I would recommend this hotel for a short stay great value in a nice area and will be back again, Thanks to all at Amadi Park for a lovely stay!
