Everything was nice! Clean. Above-average condition.

The TV screen was dusty in our room and the toilet seat was stained and required housekeeping to clean. They arrived without masks which was a surprise to us

Room 124 was clean. No post smoker smell in room which was my biggest fear. Quiet place. Next to major highways.

It was okay, selected for its low price and it was a clean room, short stay to I was happy with the value given.

My room was smaller than my family member. It was a tight fit.

Housekeeping did not show. Desk staff was disinterested.

The air conditioner did not cool or dry the air. When I looked at the pull-out air conditioner filter, it was filthy and caked with dust and dirt. I wiped it off with a towel but it did not help. The stale smell in the room may have been coming from the carpet as well. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable and the layout of the room was very nice.

It’s non-smoking but it smells like stale smoke. Stairs hadn’t been vacuumed for a while. Basically clean otherwise but would prefer something little better.

We love it!! Very clean and comfort!!! Excellent price!!!

Great room. Very new looking like it was recently updated. Would stay here again!

Windows in room do not do an adequate job of reducing truck noise from highway. If we were to stay there again, I would want a room on the front side of building.

Handle fell off restroom door, no chairs to relax in, very minimal furnishings. Reasonable pricing.

Pretty good place that lacks amenites of much more expensive places. Rooms are fairly quiet and comfortable, but small. Note, however, the US30 highway is very close, so if highway noise bothers you, be absolutely sure to get a room on the north side of the building. Wi-Fi is provided free, and it works well. They also have a two-computer center in the lobby for those who don't bring their own. The room televisions have a lot of HBO and MAX movie channels. Management is respectful and pleasant. So you know, the only "hot" portion of the beakfast consists of make-your-own waffles and biscuits and gravy. However, there is a nice peppermint candy dish in the lobby, and they provide after-dinner cookies. If I do need to go to Ames again (both kids now graduated from Iowa State, so, questionable), I'd definitely consider this place. Funny thing noted: the three parking places in the lot designated "COMPACT" are huge, bigger than any of the others in the lot.

I originally booked one night, but ended up staying 2 nights in the accessible room. I did not need that particular accommodation, but it worked well for my purposes. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. The exercise room was small and in the basement level, but worked just fine. The breakfast was standard but fine. Coffee was good.

Very reasonably priced hotel with friendly staff and clean, cozy rooms!

Elijah at the front desk was very helpful and kind. Give him a raise!

Since I booked rather late, there were a few places with reasonable prices, and this is one of them. When I saw "Wyndham" I was thinking, this must be ok. The breakfast that was included was good for the price. No fresh fruits except bananas, but that's ok. There are 3 types of cereals, boiled eggs, biscuits & gravy, yogurt, waffle maker for waffles, donuts, muffins, bagels, orange juice & apple juice, coffee, etc. all you can ask for in a regular breakfast. As one enters the bedroom, the light switch was lit but it is by the toilet entrance. One has to reach over. After a few times, one knows where it is. Unfortunately, the queen size mattress has 'lumps' on both sides and center, but I managed to sleep ok. There is a small refrigerator, but I think it is not cold enough. The faucet by the sink drips at times; I managed. For the money that was paid, this place is ok. They have thought of the basic essential needs. There is no coffee maker; I hardly use them anyway... another space occupier. I did not have time to check out the exercise room. The room is very small. the queen size bed occupied 3/5 of the room. The room was quiet. I did not hear showers next door; no noise from the corridors. There were sufficient parking spaces. Fellow travelers were pleasant.

Booked the room based on price and space in room. Overall the was clean, spacious for a small suite and, as noted in survey, "OK." But the plastic shower floor was dirty, the toilet seat loose. Breakfast was a little on the light side of comparable offerings.

Through feedback like yours we are able to address our weaknesses and to improve upon them and we thank you for taking the time to write. It is disheartening to learn that you did not enjoy your stay and that the room was not properly and thoroughly cleaned and maintained according to the high standards of our housekeeping and maintenance staff. Again, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention so that we can make sure no future guest experiences the same inconvenience. We hope that you will change your mind about giving us a second chance and that you will someday return to be impressed by the changes we've made.
