Shower could only be used by two people because the drain was so clogged. Also, when we checked in we were told our room would only be cleaned mid-stay upon request… standard nowadays. Well when we requested beds and towels later, we were told it wouldn’t happen. Seems to be some miscommunication between staff. The weekend brunch buffet is overpriced for what they provide but the room service is good. Chose this place because it is the only hotel with a hot tub, seats about 6. It was a decent stay, almost worth the price but could use some touches to make it better and more worth the money.

This is my favorite place to stay in Ames! I’ve never been disappointed. The staff is great- hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. If you’re staying in the area: highly recommend!
