Red Roof Inn Albuquerque

2.5 out of 5.0

The plumbing in the room was poor to inoperative. We had to move twice since the first room had an inoperative toilet.

There are a lot of bums/random people hanging out in the hotel parking lot. It's an ok hotel to stay in.

quick,friendly check-in clean/quiet lots of breakfast selections

Concrete was chipping on stairs, metal on stairs was loose (a major trip hazard), front desk clerk was rude and would not put my Choice Privileges number on the stay. Room stank. Moved to a different room. Still stank - just not as bad - old musty smell.

The room the location were great, the breakfast was wonderful, the On site manager's attitude was not very traveler friendly. I would wood rent another three days at a different location but would not advise the menaul location.

When we arrived there was only two handicapped units, There was not many handcapped ramps, The room was a big disapointment, There was a huge spot on the floor and the overall carpet was filty, We mentioned thespot to management the first night but it took 3 days for the spot to be cleaned, I like to go barefoot in the room but I refused to go barefoot because how dirty the capet was. It looked like it had never been shampooed. I even took pictures.

Thank you for your review. While we are an older hotel, we strive to keep the property clean and the rooms comfortable. We have been completing upgrades to the rooms and hope to complete more by the end of the year. We hope you'll come back and stay with us!

Thank you for your review. We are in the process of getting bids to repair the stairs and hope to have those repairs made soon. I will review our cleanliness standards with housekeeping to ensure the rooms smell fresh. I will also address the Choice Privilege issue with our front desk staff to ensure you receive points. I do apologize that your stay was not better.
