My vehicle was stolen from the Motel 6 North parking lot between 5-9am during the Albuquerque Balloon Fest. Staff expressed no sympathy, empathy, or concern for my loss. Front desk clerk was very defensive and upset with me as if I were accusing them of the theft and explained to me that Albuquerque is a big city and that car thefts happen all the time! Duly noted. My call to the front desk for help was put on hold for few minutes, after which time a woman came back with a hello....when I said hello back, nothing else was said to me. I had to ask who she was to find out I was speaking to the property manager. In addition to the general staff comments above, the Property Manager was very unprofessional. I was not allowed to view surveillance recording. When questioned about the recording, the manager claimed she was unable to see anything on the security camera recording because it was dark. When asked if she was able to see me remove some camp chairs from back of the truck, she indicated she could not because it was dark. The car I loaded chairs into had lights on and would have been visible in the dark, therefore she either did not view surveillance tape or lied about what she saw. My truck was parked in an area of the parking lot where lights and camera coverage was obscured. Employees were aware of this poor coverage area and it is very probable that the theft was coordinated with or carried out by an employee. Do not ever stay at this property for any reason.

It wasn’t well kept and extremely sloppy looking. Area around the hotel was a joke too. I even had items stolen from me but front desk said they couldn’t assist or even look at cameras. Then shut the metal cage at the front desk

Grafitti scratched into the elevator is never a good sign ... It was cheap and convenient to the interstate.

Motel 6 is hard to find because the Exit from the interstate is poorly posted with street signs. The car park has vagrants, and the doorway is broken. The lobby is dirty and not swept. Its better than sleeping on the street that being a common practice in Albuquerque

The picture do not justify the place. The plexus glass used to seal the front doors said so much up one entrance. However it being our only option we had to stay. While we booked a non smoking room they put us in their “last” room. Which was smoking. It smelled like smoke, shame, and dog urine. The blood stain on the bed skirt did a lot to inform me this was a pay by the hour place or worse. I would not recommend anyone stay here. We left the second we could.

There was no towels in the room. I picked up towels from the front desk. They did not answer the phone. I found out the room did not have tissue. I had to pick that up from the front desk. The next morning I found out we had no hot water for the shower. There was also a lot of homeless people checking in. Seemed like a halfway house hotel.

Staff were awesome but this place was a total dump!! Good thing it was close to the Fiesta. We will avoid this location at all cost!!

Originally unhappy but manager and assistant did their best to accomidate.

Dirty. Made a reservation for non smoking room and got one smoking with burn marks on the sheets .

Property was nice, office person was rude but the house keeping staff were friendly. Good place for the price.

People were up partying all night and I had to get up early to drive 16 hours. It was so loud I finally just left at 3:15 am.

Check in was OK. Halls smelled like the smoking section at Denny's.

Per friendly. Good shower. Slept comfortable. First floor. Away from traffic noise

Some of the guests were sketchy and I felt unsafe as one of them was pounding on the door and walls

Location is convenient to the interstate. Rooms look updated.

Great motel 6 should be up there with motel 10 great

Perfectly fine for the low, low rate. Nicer than I would expect for $50
