Loved the architecture and the warm feel of the accommodations.
Charming building, nice breakfast served and good amenities.
Amazing historical architecture in the heart of the city. Wonderful night's sleep on a great bed.
First time my wife and I stay here. We loved the property. Old style brownstone with beautiful architecture throughout. Staff was very friendly and location was perfect. Whenever we are in Albany we will be staying here.
Lovely hotel. Our room was fantastic. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to have a chance to stay there again in the near future.
An 1880’s brownstone with fine detailing throughout. The continental breakfast was disappointing. The pastry was commercial and tasteless. Good location overlooking a beautiful park.
I was in Albany for a wedding. Room seemed charming at first, but window air conditioner was more noise than I wanted and there was no full length mirror to help me get ready.
At first glance, I was excited about the stay because I thought that it would be different than the regular hotels, but when I got to the room, I didn't feel the same. It was different for sure, but not exciting in any way. The room felt outdated...VERY outdated. From the TV remote that was scotch-taped and had writings all over it, to the loud old steamer, to a strange and small shower head, to dirty cups (there was some small black pebble-like "stuff" in them--you decide what that could be!) I can't put my finger on what I didn't like more. There was a coffee maker and coffee available, but no milk. I was told to call 15 minutes prior to my arrival so staff could be onsite. I did that, then had to wait for another 5 minutes outside for someone to come open up the door and check me in. I was told that breakfast was going to be served until 10:30 and staff was already cleaning up and putting everything away by 10:00AM. I can pick on a million things I didn't like, but the bottom line is that the place didn't feel inviting and warm. I can overlook any minor issue if at any point it felt cozy. I just didn't want to be there AT ALL!

Thank you for staying with us. Sorry the AC was noisy, and that you did not have a full length mirror. We would love to know what room you were in so that we can make the necessary changes.
