Our room was paid for ahead of time by credit card. Upon arrival we were asked for our credit card for a fifty dollar room deposit. Our credit card was billed fifty dollars. They have a sign that states that your deposit will be returned but it will take two weeks to four months depending on your bank. Why? They have the credit card number. Why do they get to keep my money for up to four months. There is zero room damage. We choose not to swim in the pool or use the hot tub because the water had a slight green tinge. We did not complain. I just think this is poor policy. I would not choose to stay at a Hilton again

Nice hotel. Only complaint is that housekeeping was knocking on our door at 8:30 am and when i didn’t answer the door right away, she started to let herself in.

My chief compliant is that the room I reserved wasn’t available. I was provided with a complimentary beverage and appetizer from their restaurant.

The hotel was quite good but I bought the breakfast option and it is not buffet as it usually happens in other hotels of this level

Middle of the road hotel in every aspect.... Not a rathole but far from a place you'd want to stay for more than one night or recommend. staff is nice... I travel for work alot and this is a one and done.

We stayed here recently for one night. The hotel was very nice, clean with a pool and hot tub. We liked the location as well, very easy to get to.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the roll-away bed we requested was already in the room when we arrived. I would absolutely stay here again!

My stay wasn't horrible, but it could have been better. FOOD The breakfast was almost inedible. The bacon was extremely salty. The scrambled eggs shouldn't even be called eggs because they were a chalky egg substitute. They did not taste good at all. Overall, the food was extremely disappointing and not worth $9.95. SERVICE The service, from all members of the staff, was great. ROOM & CLEANLINESS The most annoying part of the room was the plumbing. The sink was backed up and the sound of the faucet was very loud and disturbing. The toilet definitely needs to be replaced as the seat is old, dirty, and damaged. The tub could benefit from a good scrub also. Good thing I always walk with my shower shoes.

The Good: - The staff is polite and helpful. - The location is very convenient. - The breakfast is good The Bad: - The hotel is really nice but it's aging. The decor is old school and not like the newer hotels like Aloft or Home2 Suites, I like the classic decors too but this hotel doesn't appear to have been upgraded in a while. - The shower curtain was torn towards the top.

Everything was great. If I have to pay for breakfast though, it should be better than what was served. The hotel staff could be a bit nicer. Other than that, great stay!

This is a very nice hotel. It is a good value. This is a very nice hotel. It is a good value.

Clean rooms, excellent breakfast for $9.95. A bit of road noise from the highway, and some sirens, but overall not too bad.

Overall it was a nice experience, it was the first hotel experience for a 4 year old who enjoyed every minute from the room to the breakfast buffet.

Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn/SUNY Area was a terrific experience. It is an ideal place to stay if you are planning to be in the Albany area...including spending a day at Saratoga Race Track! The hotels in and around Saratoga Springs are very expensive but if you're willing to drive 25 minutes out of town you can find a highly-rated hotel, like the Hilton Garden Inn, at a price that is affordable for a family!

Outstanding service and excellent in all departments. Totally satisfied.

Well-maintained facilities, close to state office campus and SUNY Albany. Staff is friendly and competent. Comfortable rooms, secure parking.

great hotel. everything is a bit better here, the staff, the room, the food. My wife was in the room for about 10 seconds and announced she was going to take a bath ... and did!

Great hotel and staff Comfortable room and bed. Noise from highways -relentless.Breakfast-to order not just buffet-fantastic.

Arrived late on a Sunday night and our room was ready and waiting. Room was clean and very comfortable . Had a late dinner in the restaurant and all was good, everyone was real nice.

The location couldn't have been more convenient for business meetings in Albany.
