We were looking for somewhere to stop for the night during our roadtrip. I had read the reviews of this hotel and everything looked positive. When we arrived there were several people smoking and being loud across the street at the gas station. I had my friend lock the car while she was sitting in waiting for me to check us in. After we got checked in we parked and were gathering our belongings to head upstairs. When we were walking to our room a man stopped us, and attempted to take my bag. The man then proceeded to touch my friend and me on the arm. The man then lingered waiting for us to go into our room. We finally were able to get into our room safely. We immediately locked the door and the deadbolt. We called the front desk to inform them of the man. The front desk told us "he has been causing problems with other guests too." We were scared all night that the man was going to break into our room, especially being a motel and the window being easy access. I am thankful my friend and I were together and not alone. Also, the toilet had poop stains in it and the room was dirty. We would of complained but we were too scared to leave the room. I would not recommend staying here, nor would I ever stay here again. I would feel more safe sleeping in my car on the side of the interstate.
