If you're ready to experience fun and relaxation away from Omaha, visit Atlanta, the "Peach City". When you want to fly from Omaha to Atlanta, the easiest way is to take a taxi to Eppley Airfield (OMA). Then, settle down for the comfortable 2-hour flight to Atlanta.
If you're staying downtown, then walk to Underground Atlanta, a shopping and entertainment complex located in the heart of the area. The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum is 2 miles east of Atlanta on Freedom Parkway. Also consider spending time at the Zoo Atlanta, where there is a specialization in raising gorillas. The facility is in Grant Park, where there is a large mural, known as the Cyclorama, depicting the Battle of Atlanta.
