Chicka was a really nice gate agent in Atlanta. He was so nice to watch he was sooo nice to everyone.
The lap table and my husband’s table was dirty
My husband and I were not seated together...I did not like that.
Nothing to add was a very pleasant stress free flight.
The experience was great. I will be flying with Delta very soon.....
Everything was great except for the 4 hour delay in travel due to Maine issues with the plane. Traveling alone with my 3 children, one in which was a toddler was a challenge. adding a 4 hour ldelay just made things more difficult.
Did not like the seats in the very back of the plane for both flights
Enjoy availability of movies and music and misc snacks and drinks
I didn’t get to choose my seat, even though I paid for it. The seats were not comfortable.
Flights were on time and very smooth
Orbitz.com can help you find flights from Jacksonville, North Carolina, by searching many airlines at once for your air ticket. The Albert J. Ellis Airport serves Jacksonville and nearby Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. It is located in Richlands, North Carolina, about 10 miles from downtown Jacksonville. It is served by two airlines, Delta and US Airways, that provide domestic service on one runway.
The airport has over 500 short- and long-term parking spaces. You can expect to pay $2 per hour, with the first 15 minutes free and a maximum of $7 per day. The parking lot is open from 4:30 a.m. until the last arriving flight. Contact the Airport Police Department, located in the terminal area, if you need access after-hours.
There are taxis available if you need transportation to the airport. You can expect a fare of about $40.00 from downtown Jacksonville to the airport. The Jacksonville public bus does not go to the airport, but shuttles are available from local taxi companies. Orbitz.com can find great deals on ground transportation, too.
The Airport Cafe is available to passengers who have passed security screening. It opens at 5 a.m., so you can grab breakfast or a cup of coffee before your flight. The Airport Grill & Lounge opens at 7:30 a.m. and offers grill items and cold sandwiches. It generally closes at 6 p.m., but may remain open later, depending on passenger traffic. Orbitz.com can help you find flights from Jacksonville that stay within your budget.

The most economical means of transportation into the city is via the MARTA, Atlanta's local train service. You can board the MARTA at the station, near the baggage claim area. Twenty minutes and $2.50 later, you'll be checking into your hotel in downtown Atlanta. Taxi service is available at the yellow bus aisle right outside of baggage claim. Expect fares into the city to cost roughly $30. If you used Orbitz.com to purchase your air ticket, consider bundling in a rental car or choosing a hotel that offers free shuttle service to and from the airport.
Atlanta's winters are mild, with average temperatures in the 40s and 50s, but summer temperatures can soar up to the 90s, with extreme humidity making it feel even hotter. July is the rainiest month of the year, so be sure to pack a rain slicker or umbrella in case you run into showers.
