Stay was good enough, staff was helpful and we had no major issues. Our stay was serviceable for the price, and location was very convenient for downtown bus service. Hotel was a little dated, but it fit our needs just fine.

Good location in historic building. Rooms were small, but passable, though very overpriced! At least they were clean - at first! Front desk staff was not very friendly or accommodating. Cleaning staff did a rather poor job. Stayed in downtown Pittsburgh many times, at half a dozen different locations, and this one was one of the more underwhelming ones.

The location is EXCELLENT! It's right behind The Point Park. We got a "river view" room and had great views of the park and the rivers. We walked to the Pittsburgh Pirates game. Likewise, we walked to great restaurants and bars. We didn't have housekeeping service because we only stayed 3 days. I didn't like that I had to ask for soap, coffee supplies, and more towels
