$335 Cheap flight deals from Raleigh (RDU) to Poole Keynes (BHX)

We were really looking forward to our stay at The Lygon Arms, but unfortunately the experience fell significantly short of expectations for a hotel of this reputation and price. From arrival, there were problems with our room allocations. A room we had specifically booked and paid for had been allocated to other guests, while another room booked for three people was only suitable for two. We were not provided with the accommodation we had reserved and had to wait two days before being moved. Despite our party spending approximately £6,000, we were initially refused a dining reservation, which was particularly disappointing when non-residents appeared to be accommodated. Throughout our stay, service was inconsistent. Breakfast was extremely slow, with food sometimes arriving cold. The quality of the food generally did not reflect the prices charged. Bar service was equally slow, and tables in the lounges were often sticky and not properly cleaned. We were also disturbed by hammering and drilling on weekend mornings, hardly conducive to a relaxing luxury break. Unfortunately, some staff interactions felt dismissive and unhelpful when concerns were raised. The building itself is beautiful, and Broadway is a wonderful location, which makes the experience even more disappointing. At this price point, guests should reasonably expect attentive service, accurate room allocations and a comfortable environment.
