Three airports serve the New York City metropolitan area: LaGuardia Airport, Newark-Liberty International Airport and John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport. LaGuardia is 6.5 miles from Manhattan, JFK is 20 miles from Manhattan and Newark is 16 miles from Manhattan. Flights to Montego Bay leave from all three airports. Five airlines offer flights to Montego Bay: JetBlue, Delta Air Lines, Air Canada, US Airways and United Airlines.
All three airports have long-term parking options for people who need to leave their cars at the airport while they travel. The rates at Newark and JFK accrue in eight-hour intervals, with a maximum charge of $18 per day. LaGuardia Airport charges $66 for the first two days and $18 per day after the second day. If you don't want to drive to the airport, you can get to JFK or LaGuardia by taking the NYC Airporter shuttle bus. It costs $12.75 to get to LaGuardia Airport and $15.75 to get to JFK. You can also take a taxicab to any of the three airports.
If you want to grab something to eat before your flight, all of the airports have numerous options. Newark has a food court that features Subway, Villa Pizza and Cheeburger Cheeburger. If you're flying out of LaGuardia, you can choose from MexiJoe's, Metro Burger or Five Guys Burgers & Fries. If your flight leaves from JFK, you can eat at the Tuscany Café, Eat & Go Istanbul or New York Hot Dog & Coffee.
Montego Bay isn't as crowded as Ocho Rios, but it's still one of Jamaica's premier vacation destinations. Whether you enjoy golf, shopping or simply want to relax on the beach, Montego Bay has something that will interest you.

JUTA Taxi and JCAL Taxi are the airport's authorized taxicab companies. You can reserve a cab at the Authorized Airport Taxi desk, just outside of the Customs exit. The airport also houses five rental car companies: Hertz, Budget, Avis, Thrifty and Island Car Rental. You can reserve your rental car in advance using the Orbitz.com website.
