I was made extremely uncomfortable by a flight attendant denying food to the husband of a couple who purchased the exact same fare. The wife was provided a meal and the husband was denied. He requested a manger to which the female flight attendant flippantly responded: “he’ll tell you the same thing.” My ticket cost the same as the couple’s ticket and I received 2 meals. After a protracted discussion, the manager gave in and brought the meal. The passenger declined. I should not have had to hear that nor should the passenger. That manager should have been courteous from the start and brought the meal. Instead at least 3 of us will think twice about using your airline again. It was rude, uncalled for, pointless and very mean.
