You will depart from Houston through Bush Intercontinental Airport, which is a large airport located about eighteen miles from the city center. You can drive yourself there, and the airport offers parking for seventeen dollars per day. Less expensive parking is available from Ramada, Park ‘N Fly, and Rocket Parking. While these places are located a few miles from the airport, they offer free shuttle services to the airport terminal. Public transportation and taxi services are also available. Once you’ve checked in, grab a bite to eat at one of the various restaurants located throughout airport terminals.

Travel to Manila

Your plane will land at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, which is located less than three miles from the city center. You may take a taxi or bus from the airport to the city center, and the price is relatively inexpensive. Once you’re there, you can visit the National Museum of the Philippines, which boasts an impressive array of artifacts of various subjects. You can also visit the Manila Central Post Office to get a glimpse of its impressive neoclassical architecture. Finally, you can participate in various tours of the city to learn about its history. The best time to visit Manila is anytime other than March to July, as the daytime temperature during those months averages around the mid-90s, with a nighttime temperature around the mid-70s and an average humidity of 77 percent. During the fall and winter, the temperature is only slightly lower, with an average daytime temperature around the mid-80s and a nighttime temperature in the low 70s, so dress lightly.
