Despite the decent reviews, I can’t give this place a good review. The room was not cleaned properly. The floors were not vacuumed and there was garbage underneath the bed. Though everything else looked clean, it probably only looked clean. To make matters worse, workers talk very loud in the hallways and the rooms are not very soundproof. Also, there was a fried food smell coming from, I believe, the vents. If I am ever in Wilmington again, I will not stay here. Checking in and out was quick, but the room is what really matters. Not recommended.

There was a major safety violation that occurred and I was completely dismissed by management. I was woken in the middle of the night to a maintenance employee opening my door. There was no prior authorization or warning before he entered. The manager said sorry for the inconvenience and did not realize the gravity of the situation. I would not recommend staying here if you value safety and customer service

The room was great!! The staff was awesome!!! The accommodations were very clean and spacious!! The only “complaint” I have is that the bar and restaurant were only open for breakfast early and dinner after 5 o’clock! I feel like you should have an opportunity to go in and visit a bar in a restaurant hotel whatever time of day you happen to come in the door! If I want to have a cocktail at 3 or 4 in the afternoon - it is disappointing that the facilities are not open to guests!!

The best part about our stay was the front desk staff. They were patient as it was an extremely busy day, highly professional, helpful, and just an Awesome group of people who obviously love their jobs. Because of them I we will definitely be returning the next time were in that area.
