Stayed at this hotel during a snowstorm (They expected over 8" but thankfully we didnt get so much). However, the next evening when I saw my car (which I hadn't taken out all day) - was fully cleaned, thanks to the staff at the hotel. Was very unexpected and I was extremely thankful for it. The hotel staff are very friendly too. I would have given it 5 stars, however, the food wasn't upto par. Granted during the snowstorm I didn't expect food - but even the next day - the vegetarian options are next to nothing.
Reserved a 2 room suite & floor / carpet was wet & filthy. Our socks were black from walking on wet carpet. They moved us to another suite although not a separate 2 room suite which I purposely booked as my Mom goes to bed early & gets up at 4 and I go to bed late & don't get up till 9-10. I wanted/needed a separate room for bedroom & sitting room. The manager did give us one night free. That was nice & appreciated although it was a hassle to move & didn't have privacy we needed. Their is a hotel behind this one I should have booked. Looked much nicer & newer.
Recently had to make a short visit to Wilmington. Didn't need anything fancy. I was impressed with the very friendly staff & the clean comfortable room. Breakfast was not free, but the Bistro offered a very good selection at a reasonable price. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
We were heading home from Myrtle Beach and decided to make a stop here as we were going to The Franklin Institute the following day. This hotel was the right price compared to Philly Hotels and only about a 30 minute drive. We didn't have reservations but when I walked in the front desk gentleman was very accommodating. He asked if I was a Marriott Rewards member and brought me right up. He asked me how many beds and what floor I would like. He reviewed with me the hours of the Bistro and even whispered the pool hours so my kids wouldn't hear and give me a hard time. - Beds were very comfortable - Room was a great size - Air conditioning worked well - Boys loves the pool and hot tub. The pool temperature was very warm and comfortable. We were the only ones in the pool and had a lot of fun before hitting the road. - We even had a surprise visit from Elmo who was roaming the lobby area! *** Beds were super comfortable and I would recommend as a cost effective hotel for an overnight trip outside of Philly ***
The staff was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and engaged. The hotel is very "kid friendly". We enjoyed using the indoor pool while we were there. The hotel is also located near a lot of restaurants and activities.
The lobby to the room was very nice not old and outdated as someone said. Room was excellent. Check in was amazing with Ralph helping us and directing us to amazing local food. He was great. Derrick at the bar made us feel at home and content. What are you thinking? It's a Marriott.
This property is old and well used/worn all-around. Staff were VERY friendly. The low-ceilinged lobby was smaller than average and food was out on the evening I stayed (think the one and only? "cook" called out). One of the stairwells wreaked with some smell that a staff member later told me was spoiled milk that someone left there. The room furniture needs replacing. Room cleanliness average. Locationj-wise, it's conveniently located across a small street from about a half dozen full-service chain restaurants. I am a Marriott loyalist, but will give the adjacent Hilton Homewood Suites a try on my next visit.
Stayed this past weekend for a hockey tournament with our family of 4. The entire staff was great for our 4 day stay. Ralph at the front desk was more than helpful and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond. Will definitely stay again.
Very Courtyard and a nice gym with a small pool. Rooms are spartan but WiFi is good. Bar/Deli is basic beyond belief and so would not plan an evening there but you can walk across to a few restaurants. First time there vs other local hotels and not the best in town for sure.
Visited for the first time and was pleased with the room. The location is convenient if you're looking for a place to stay that is close to Philadelphia without paying the cost of an airport hotel. Besides the maid coming early to clean the room on checkout day, I was pleased with the stay. Will definitely stay here again as long as the rates are reasonable.
