Parking was terrible, if you went up to the top deck you couldn't turn around and you could barely back down the ramp because of the bike area. rooms were ok but hotel was pretty run down.

I give five star to the owner and staff for their great hospitality. However the hotel itself is in poor conditions. The building is very old and facilities are either outdated or unavailable at all. The room is small and unclean, lack of ventilation which traps heat and makes the air quality very bad. We got headache after staying in the room for over couple of hours. The location is in the middle of downtown Vancouver, very convenient and walkable, but unfortunately it’s in the bad part of downtown where many homeless people hang out. It is also noisy for the most part with sirens ringing often. However fairly speaking this is a very affordable option in downtown Vancouver, so you definitely get what you pay for.

Excellent front desk staff, very cute nostalgic property! Loved the bamboo floors instead of carpet! Rooms aren’t much but have nespresso and a fridge! Mocktails at night are a nice treat as is the fire pit, piano in the parking lot, and free video game in the lobby!

The bed and pillows had terrible support and I woke up every morning feeling super sore all over which has never happened to me at a hotel before. I also found some insect pests in the bathroom a couple times which wasn’t great.

Had a good experience. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Only complaint was the noise of the traffic on Burrard street but the in-unit fan and some east plugs helped to mask it.

Hotel has been updated and has a very cool vibe. Staff were super nice and services were great (unlimited water and coffee pods for the room, free passes to a nearby gym). The hotel rooms do exit directly outside though, and the heating/cooling in the rooms are a bit tricky - stayed here in November and couldn't seem to maintain a comfortable temperature, likely due to the older building. Would be an amazing spot and layout in the summer though! It is also directly across from the hospital, so a very busy pedestrian and traffic spot - probably a pro for some and a con for others.

the front desk was a little troubling at check in. out of country and someone barely spoke english and didn’t understand how payments fully worked and almost was just in vancouver not knowing where to go. but a guy helped us and told her there’s a different way to pay for a deposit so we ended up staying and things worked out. then when we asked for new towels since we took showers and everything, only gave us 1 towel for like showers and there’s 2 of us so. if they spoke some english better and understood their job then it would’ve been a better stay with customer service but the room was nice, and it was quiet
