Parking was included with the VIP access so that was a nice bonus. It is not a fancy hotel, but it's clean and convenient.

The property was clean. The homeless and drug users were thick in the area. The staff were very friendly. There was a guy that was pooping in front of us at the front of the hotel. That was horrible to see. The best part of the hotel is the courtyard. We had asked to have a room next to our other family/friends, we was told no. The next day we were sitting in the courtyard and watched a couple check into the room that we had asked for. Seriously. Will not be returning. Absolutely not.

The price was great for this super clean and mid century look hotel. The amenities were great. A very simple room, but perfect for the price and location. Art work was super fun!

Way over priced.

Went to a concert and needed a place to stay. With taxes our one night was well over $400. Absolutely insane. The place is very old, tiny room and not the best bed. I stay in Vancouver quite a bit and most of the year you can stay at Wall Centre (right beside the Burrard), or even Sutton Place for far less than this. Summertime price gouge.

The property feels like an old-style motel. Some features require renovation, such as the air conditioning. It was a convenient location in the city. Good coffee shop for breakfast. Staff very helpful.

The hotel itself has a cool vibe. It's not luxurious, but you get a nice bed, and you get an air conditioner inside the room. It wasn't hard to sleep with it, and I'm used to Sheratons and Westins. The block the hotel is on is having some construction, and people are lying on the street on the same block, who, for some, might be a bit scary. All in all, it's a lovely hotel that makes a genuine effort. You walk past the people on the street, and two blocks away are excellent hotels. It's just what parts of Vancouver are like, I guess. I would stay here again for the price.

Old Burrard

Hotel is very old and not updated. Everything was clean and staff friendly but maintenance wasn’t kept up. Our room key wouldn’t work so they put us in another room. The heating and cooling wasn’t central or in the wall. Just a separate unit that was very noisy. Fortunately it was cool enough to leave bathroom window open for air. Hotel was too expensive to be so old but was centrally located near nice shops and restaurants. The outside courtyard looked really nice in pictures but there was hardly any seating for guests.

Noisy but nice

I was allocated a room that was facing Burrard Street which was very noisy. Adding to the noise was a portable air conditioner. Apart from the noise, staff were nice and the room was large and clean. Just unlucky with my room allocation.
