I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, Washington, and I can confidently say it deserves every bit of a 5-star rating! From the moment we arrived, the warm, rustic charm of the lodge enveloped us, perfectly blending Pacific Northwest ambiance with modern comforts. The hand-crafted Douglas Fir logs, soaring basalt fireplace, and Native-inspired artwork in the lobby created an inviting atmosphere that felt both luxurious and cozy.
Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed with a comfortable bed, Keurig coffee maker, and a private balcony that offered a serene view. The new beds on the 3rd and 4th floors were a dream to sleep on, and the bathroom was spotless with a fantastic shower. The staff went above and beyond—every interaction was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The front desk team was quick to assist with recommendations for local attractions, and the service at Hudson’s Bar & Grill was outstanding. Speaking of Hudson’s, the food was exceptional! The farm-to-table Northwestern cuisine, paired with the restaurant’s stunning stone fireplace and high ceilings, made for a memorable dining experience.
The lodge’s amenities added to the perfection of our stay. The indoor pool and hot tub were a hit with our family, and the fitness center was well-equipped for a quick workout. I also appreciated the convenience of the electric car chargers in the parking lot. The location is ideal!
