Mixed Experience – Great View but Noisy

I was initially given a room facing the train tracks, but the noise was too loud. I requested a quieter room and was informed of a slight price difference, which I paid. I was moved to a higher floor with a lovely view on the other side of the hotel. It was quieter, but I could still hear the train running and its squeaky brakes. The hotel should consider installing soundproof windows. The bed and pillows were comfortable, but cleanliness was average. A glass I took to drink from was sticky and covered in dust, and the bathroom cleanliness was basic. Additionally, I could hear my neighbors talking, their TV, and doors shutting, which affected my sleep. The view was stunning, but as a light sleeper, I would only consider revisiting if the noise issue is improved.

Great Hotel with Great Service and Views!

Fabulous hotel, my second time staying with them. Great views, comfy beds, and the service was impeccable, this afternoon the bar wasn't open but the manager (I think) was just passing and was kind enough to get behind the bar and sort out two drinks for us, when he could have just sent us away, that is great service! All other staff were great too even having a little sing on check-in, all in all, a very good stay and if back in Sydney, there is nowhere else I would want to stay, always View Sydney for me.

The hotel staff were lovely and they upgraded my habour view room to a better view the problem was if you have a habour view room 01-10 on any floor the trains run under neath the property and even with double glazing the noise starts at 4 am and lasts late into the night. So i will book again but ask for a room above level 7 and rooms 10-15

Beautiful stay! The view was so wonderful! We traveled by train and ferry and the location was perfect. Bar and restaurant have a nice atmosphere. Loved the bathroom setup. It was 96F out and the air conditioning was blissfully perfect. Staff helpful and professional. Great stay!

Gorgeous views of harbor day and night from my room as well as from hotel restaurant. Beautiful places to walk down to the waterfront. Easy to walk over Harbor Bridge to Circular Quay and Rocks area from here. Staff very nice. Restaurant good. I love staying here.

We enjoyed our two-night stay at View Sydney. The Harbourview King room was wonderful, and the views of the harbour, along with the complimentary wine, were the highlights of our stay. We took full advantage of the outdoor seating area that offers a picturesque view of the harbor bridge. The hotel is just a three-minute walk from the train, making it easy for us to commute to the CBD and Circular Quay.

We requested a room on a higher floor as the rail line runs under the hotel, as well as a harbour view. We found the hotel in a really convenient position, only a short walk from the rail station. The breakfast was great, as were the staff who were all very helpful and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

All good except the rumbling from the trains. The rail road goes under the hotel and it feels like an earthquake every few minutes 24 hours. Otherwise, the hotel and the staff are excellent!

Wonderful location in North Sydney. Near lots of restaurants and cafes. It is also located near public transit train. Great view towards Sydney bridge. We could check in early pending the availability of rooms. We had a spacious room. They have a nice happy hour in the hotel and breakfast options if you’d like. The hotel is located right by the train, so we could hear the trains at times— something to think about if you’re a light sleeper because we didn’t realize this before we booked. Highly recommend.

This is the second time we have stayed at The View Sydney…Absolutely love it! The view is amazing 😍 It’s close to everything. It’s just a great spot! We had the buffet breakfast each morning or our stay and that was delicious! Great selection and lovely service.
